This past May, Muhlenberg College fired tenured Jewish Professor Maura Finkelstein in a blatant act of retaliation after she spoke out for Palestinian liberation. The college informed @dr_mauraf that she was fired because she shared a post written by Palestinian poet Remi Kanazi on her personal Instagram account, and it claimed that the post’s critique of Zionism was in violation of its anti-discrimination policies.

Many of us have seen the traumatic images of innocents screaming in horror as they were being burned alive in the targeting of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Among the victims was young 19-year-old student Sha'ban al-Dalou. This young man had his bright future snatched away in the most horrific way imaginable. To cast a vote for either Trump or Harris would be to forsake our own humanity and enable these barbaric war crimes. We cannot condone the killing of Sha'ban Ahmade Al-Dalu, nor the hundreds of thousands of other innocent souls taken from us in this genocide.
