The Super Bowl half-time show was really just an Orwellian attempt to redefine USA as Central America and stoke a race war over the identity of the nation. Alex Pretti - shot dead today after pulling a gun on Border Patrol agents while impeding an arrest - had his parents warn him a couple weeks ago to not "do anything stupid" at these protests. They knew he had been radicalized. Must be heartbreaking for them.

The more Democrats inflame the situation and motivate others to resist ICE, the more shootings we are going to see. It's simple statistics, like collateral in war. But it doesn't mean our side must accept it. All we can do is charge the cops who make the mistake, admit wrongdoing and move on. Drawing this out is terrible for the cause.
