@thomasbrushdev @TheGennadiy @JasozzGames Simply remove anything removed from the world origin at a certain range. I had some very similar issues with my physics based vr project and this eventually fixed it.

Hahah awesome. I did this as well a month ago (problem is it was NOT capturing TRIGGER colliders that were falling). I also heard a dev friend of mine today did the same thing. It's funny how a lot of devs end up doing these "band aid" solutions because ultimately, it's basically all you can do! I also added a rigidbody checker every 5 seconds that kills anything outside of a 1000 unity meter radius.

WELL WELL WELL. Apparently there's HUNDREDS of game objects that are falling infinitely in Twisted Tower. This is why you BETA TEST. My goodness... thanks to @JasozzGames for reaching out last night and letting me know this is a problem to watch out for in Unity. If this many physics objects start falling, the physics will break eventually in the game. This was a tricky one. Basically, these are rigidbodies that are triggers. So they fall, and NOTHING is ever going to stop them. Lol what a relief to find this.

Be honest… who’s really the best-looking parent: Mom or Dad? This baby had ZERO chill answering that… and everything after is even wilder 😭 Watch till the end—you won’t believe what he said about cleaning day!" This is just too cute and funny not to share with everyone 🤣

@GraceRandolph @JurgenatorThe So he should skip going to the award show that should help raise awareness of his condition. This to isolate himself from society as it might possibly lead to discomfort of others. For a condition he has no control over. Exactly why this movie is needed in the first place!

About John Davidson re Michael B Jordan & Delroy Lindo: I’ve been thinking about it, and listening to your responses & while Mr Davidson shouldn’t be bullied, a lot of you are acting as if he not only can’t control his offensive tics but as if he has no idea he even has them. He does. He should therefore be as considerate of others as you are asking others to be of him. 1/

@Mr_Steve_Powers @WallStreetMav At the end of the day: Work is work. Most of them would only work at moments they feel inspired, which will bite them in the ass the moment they step into the real business they want to compete in. Those types of industries are heavily competitive and very insecure.

@WallStreetMav Poor parenting. Find something that interests you and pays the bills, and then you can afford to do the stuff you love doing. Pro tip: If you make a career out of something you love doing, you probably won’t love doing it anymore.

completely wrong, and such a surface-level take. we can build fully working apps in a single day now. things like the one built by karpathy can be built in a couple of hours. a custom game for your kid, a small tool for a specific personal need, can be built in under an hour. you’re arguing as if we’re in early 2025. the landscape has shifted dramatically. wake up

This is a very apt thing I have noticed a certain malaise i am seeing. it honestly reminds me a lot of 2021 neovim config andies. You can build anything, just some time and some prompts and you got your fully custom piece of tech for exactly what you want!! but wait, here is another thing to optimize! wait... there is another thing.. oh no! your first thing doesn't quite do it the way you want it to, better fix that... ... pretty soon you are having 8 agents building all sorts of stuff and you consistently feel like you are going no where and you have nothing to show for it, yet your brain is moving at 100x the speed, your sleep is suffering, your attention with your kids and wife are dwindling... but bro, just one more prompt, just one more prompt and it will fix this issue, i swear The burden of being able to build anything is the burden of having to maintain everything and in the day and age of vibing, contracts are even less held tight and change is even faster.
LaurieWired@lauriewired

oh come on. You think your grandma wants to make her own app? Much less maintain it. Everyone neglects the mental energy it takes to even *think* of what it is exactly you want. The entire principle of apps relies on some faith that designers; and the collective feedback of their users, can come up with a workflow or design paradigm that is *better* than what you; an individual could come up with. This is true for 99% of cases. I’d be floored if even 1% of global users want bespoke applications for uber-specific needs. Not saying it’s useless; but it’s so far away from what average users want.

@GodsBurnt With all these boomers who have been in office forever it isn’t likely. If we can get term limits set for everyone and get more younger people in who are fed up with this bs we could. Maybe in the next election cycle.

Someone is getting mad when people start replacing alcohol with weed because they can work next morning without hangovers Weed has serious risks and psychosis risk is elevated with weed. But data in markets with mature weed markets like Canada or Netherlands shows the that rates of Schizo have not increased with cannabis legalization Otherwise the Netherlands would be the land of crazy people, and it is not Reality is also much more nuanced than what this anti weed propaganda is pushing. It is important to distinguish between the guy smoking a joint occasionally and the guy taking a 500mg gummy or 1g dab of 80% concentrate

@libbypeteanim Would love to learn more trough a course if it becomes available! And yeah imagine that would be the easiest, going outward from the source of the motion. I always find it hard to find the right timing with poses and then have a few poses where I try to do everything together,

What I learned at Pixar for creating fluid animation ⬇️ Focusing on your extremes and making sure each axis in both translations and rotation hits its extreme on different frames is what makes animation fluid. Also make sure the extremes of different parts of the body hit on different frames as well. Essentially this is how I think and approach animating drag and follow through and create arcs

@natemixing 80% of the job is volume and panning. Don’t get the idea that there is only one way to make a good mix. And make sure your kick and snare have room to punch trough the mix while approaching a level of loudness you want to achieve.

I got into code because of the money. The reason I worked hard for is no more and I find myself without a purpose to pursue. I chased it for 3 years and now that it's within reach, I have entered into a burnout phase. I primarily did it because my parents financial situation was not really good and the entire responsibility was on me. Whenever I work on a side project or post on twitter I think to myself "why am I even doing this?". Some parts of me still wants to code and get better at it purely for the love of the game, but there's no direction. I've been stuck in between not being able to completely commit to entertainment(anime, games etc) or working on projects. I feel like I'm wasting time if i watch anime or play games so I don't pick it up, but I don't do anything productive either. While speaking with a friend (thanks @RubenVeidt) i realized that I need to set my goals higher and pursue some hard technical problems to solve. So I'll be exploring more in this direction going forward. I'm curious what larger goal motivates y'all to work, also any advice in the comments would help me out. Just wanted to put out my thoughts here to see other's opinions.
