I'm playing golf to the point where I feel like I can contend in big tournaments. “Obviously a good finish last week and still a top-5 finish this week. Overall I feel like I'm playing good golf, which is really nice. It's nice to see on a hard golf course last week, hard golf course this week. Paul Azinger takes a shot at Rory McIlroy’s Ryder Cup behaviour: “Today in the press conference he said ‘I think golf should be held to a higher standard of decorum. But in the meantime he says ‘f-you, f-you, f-you’ in full voice for the world to see. “He turns around and says to the guy ‘shut the f up’. The guy in the media today asks him ‘how did it feel Rory to tell the guy to shut the f up and then hit it to feet’ and he said ‘it felt pretty f-ing good.’ “And I’m like, which is it Rory? @flushingitgolf DP partnered with PGA. End of that discussion. Two years ago, would have been a great deal to bring golf around the globe with top players.

Bloomberg reports the DP World Tour is in discussions directly with LIV Golf for a deal that would provide a stable source of funding and a mutual schedule. This is on the back of reports from Sports Illustrated that a similar deal was rejected earlier this year. With talks dragging out, this is the obvious move. A direct partnership between the DP World Tour and LIV would significantly strengthen both tours and would break the 18 month long stalemate discussions have been in. The DP World Tour has significantly softened their stance for LIV players competing on the tour recently. Fingers crossed for positive news 🤞 Link in comments.
