@callumdudeee @KR49Delta @davidlynchlfc Look back to when I was growing up there was all sorts of quality in the league. Both at the old firm and even the smaller sides had some decent players throughout. Now it’s at a stage barely anyone in Scotland makes it into any prem side.

Remember when a lot of the top teams had some absolutely class players, were competing in Europe consistently and so forth. Is what it is at the moment unfortunately

I know Celtic fans won’t agree but, as dramatic as today has been, that’s an awful outcome for Scottish football. If Celtic can cycle through three managers, struggle for most of the season, yet win the title anyway, what does it say about the state of the game up there?

@KR49Delta @callumdudeee @davidlynchlfc Aye agreed mate, league massively needs at least a team or two challenging but hearts got there on a shoe string and it required Celtic to be miles from their best. Rangers have been hit and miss all season and generally not up to it.

@KR49Delta @callumdudeee @davidlynchlfc It’s a tough one if your a Celtic fan you obviously want to win all the time it’s a no brainer but for a neutral it’s a pointless watch compounded by the lack of quality in the league. We can’t retain the top players and now we have zero chance of getting away from it.

@Rab1865137 @callumdudeee @davidlynchlfc It was horrible before, but now Celtic are most likely going to pick up a double in a season they themselves admit they were complete shite. Even the Saudi Pro and Egyptian leagues have been more competitive than us lately, its sickening man.

The gap opened up massively when rangers went down and Celtic were winning quadruples

@Rab1865137 @davidlynchlfc It's just not true though is it, the financial gap between England and Scotland was growing so vast not long after some of the best seasons in the early - mid 2000s, very competitive. And rangers spent 50mil nearly this year, maybe it's not Celtic being so clear with money is it

@callumdudeee @davidlynchlfc Scotland has absolutely ruined itself by making it a one horse race for the best part of 20 years. We used to be able to compete financially with England. Who wants to watch one team win the league every year, couple that with 10x the population down south you have an answer.

@davidlynchlfc Look at England poaching every player form Scottish academy's and young prospects and paying them wages even Celtic couldn't afford, thanks to sky sports money. Much more damaging to the Scottish game than anyone winning anything up here. Fuck right off.

Just that one in particular to me is insane, your saying he’s able to elbow someone in the face whilst simultaneously being able to handle the ball all for no apparent reason when it’s a fairly comfortable clearance.

@SCloyed18530 @ChrisBarnes3D It’s very easy to be that flippant but there’s so much nuance to small business that you’d end up with mass unemployment particularly those 16-21 It’s not a few extra quid an hour across 10-20 staff soon turns a profitable small business into something that will fold overnight

Green Party say they plan to ensure everyone has a minimum wage of £31,000pa. I run a business. I don’t earn that. I employ 2 people. They don’t earn that. The business I run doesn’t take in enough to pay that. I’d need to charge customers way more to afford that 🤷‍♂️. Or go bust.
