His problem is that he eventually explicitly concedes that he follows Sharia law over other laws. That's fundamentally incompatible with American society, and why people in Muslim enclaves are emboldened to do things like honor killings. Multiculturalism is great when it is consistent with a country's core values. Once the group refusing to fully assimilate explicitly rejects values as core as obeying the law, then they need to stay somewhere where their values are consistent with that country's values.

many people are forced into retirement early because of Ageism!
Don't expect to be able to perform at the same level of your 20-30's into your 60's, and also people will highly discriminate against you in general because of age even if you can!

Jeez...and those old folk living in their homes with no bathroom were still happy with their lot! Why do people want everything perfect and pristine from the get go? My first house, a mid terrace built in 1897, had no heating, no indoor loo, no bathroom, certainly no posh kitchen...we worked hard, accepted hand me downs, second hand, started a family and spent years doing our home up bit by bit. We have moved twice from there and always started out again...slowly and steadily just bit by bit, but always costly over time and the investment we put in added value to each home. I am a pensioner and i have worked hard for 50 years, never above my means and now happily in a home that has seen my family grow, save for their own futures and homes and they all visit with our precious grandchildren...who stay over at weekends as I have room for their stays. I potter in my garden and still maintain my home....WHY am i being penalised for all of this? You reap what you sow....we were never brought up expecting life to be easy, or that we were entitled. We never had benefits and we went without very often. I went through years of Jack Frost on the inside of our windows as we had no heating, strip washes as we had no bathroom and cooking off a two ring hot plate! That was all doable when I was younger! Of course older people need more warmth so sure they will complain....but they will have put in the years of hardship...post war families did not have it as easy as youngsters think...my mortgage interest rate in 70's was 15% ....I do feel very peed off about the battering us olds are getting now...is this the latest trend? Bash a granny....? Stop spitting your dummies out..they say you get out of life what you put in....try that!

Majority of all the 4, 5 and 6 bedroom homes in my area are all occupied by boomers.
They spend all day from Spring to Autumn gardening. Some of them can barely bend down. I’ve no idea why they wouldn’t just sell up. Instead they complain about being unable to heat the property.
Any time a home comes up for sale, it’s because someone has died.
Then a lot of people don’t even want to buy them because they’ve not been decorated since 1985 and have no bath.

There are boomers sitting in large houses who don’t even want to free up equity or sell their house to help their own children get on the ladder. This is the level of selfishness we are dealing with. Thank god for parents like my mother She would sell her house in Tottenham tomorrow if it meant helping me…. And I would do anything to make her life comfortable- that’s what family is about. An eco system of giving. These days many boomers don’t want to help with grandchildren or finacial assistance and children don’t want to help their parents - so much selfishness between recent generations and it will get worse.
