Now comes the social media double whammy. Four ambulances of a volunteer service for north west London, staffed and financed by the Jewish community for everyone's use, are destroyed. That's followed by social media posts attacking Jews for having their own ambulance service...which we don't have. Because they are an act of charity. For everyone. It's like saying St John's Ambulance is 'for Christians'. Which it isn't. It's also for everyone. But it's Jews, so what does the truth matter?

You must be seriously morally defunct if you attack ambulances that assist Jewish and non-Jewish communities. We who work on tackling anti-Muslim hate are sickened by the continuous, long term and normalised antisemitism that has been going on for decades. Enough. My feed is full of people being happy about reports that kids were severely injured on tonight’s attacks on Israel, saying stuff like “well you started this war” or “but Israel killed kids in Iran as well”. Let me be very clear on this - I find no joy of seeing reports on dead kids wherever they are, and if you do you should really get help, especially if you’re a parent as well
