Darbar is in the United States on a student visa, but instead of attending classes and contributing to society, he spent his time flying from Pennsylvania to Texas and driving into New Mexico to exploit a vulnerable senior. As seen in the bodycam, Darbar tried to play the "innocent worker" card, claiming he was only being paid $1,000 for a "pickup." But his phone wouldn't stop ringing—the "boss" was calling every few minutes, desperate for the cash. Even when faced with the reality that he was destroying a man's life, Darbar kept with his story which was focused on his own bills and his baby, showing zero remorse for the victim.
