Two things can be true at once:
It is true that @joekent16jan19 has served our country and made a massive sacrifice when his first wife Shannon was killed by ISIS in Syria while she was honorably serving our country.
It is also true that Joe Kent is a serial leaker and a narcissist who is obsessed with blaming Jews and Israel for everything.
The latter makes him unfit to serve in the admin, despite his noble sacrifice.

Donald Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the American people to be our President and Commander in Chief. As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions. After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.

@robbystarbuck Joe Kent has been consistent on being against war. It’s not a surprise he was against this course of action.
Re: Israel, they prob were a factor in the decision b/c we’re allies. He’s the “if they aren’t a threat to our homeland” then we shouldn’t use this type of force guy.

For people calling Joe names, I want you to take a beat and remember that his wife was killed in the Middle East. He’s entitled to feel strongly about wars in the Middle East, even if you or I disagree.
His sacrifice and service as a soldier is owed that respect even if you don’t agree and it’s honorable that he’s stepping down if he knows that he can’t faithfully discharge his duties in a conflict he doesn’t support. I myself have some trepidation about a longterm war but I believe Trump’s record gives him some latitude to handle Iran in a reasonable timeframe.
My final point though, is that we can’t demand blind obedience and agreement. That’s not how you build coalitions. I wish Joe nothing but the best as he’s given his best years and sacrificed his greatest love for our nation.

They never mention the substance on which they disagree.
We in the conservative movement—especially in the media—are supposed to be thought leaders.
And when you’re a thought leader, you are supposed to persuade people about why your position is best.
That's your job.
That's my job.
We are supposed to challenge and dismantle ideas that are bad, dangerous, and wrong.
But is that what we're doing?
No, that's not what we're seeing here.

Am I the only one who thinks both Candace Owens and Erika Kirk are acting crazy? The only difference here is that one actually lost her husband and the father of her children, and Erika has every right to act whatever way she wants. Like, go off girl. Act weird, cry, pray, work. etc... Candace doesn't have that excuse. Yes, she lost a friend. But not a husband and the father of her children.
She is tarnishing the reputation of the only parent Charlie's kids have left, instead of supporting them.
