The hypocrisy is unbearable

11-year-old Yaqeen Hammad was one of Gaza’s youngest influencers. She spent her days in Gaza making desserts, delivering food and bringing joy to other children who had lost everything. On May 23, she was killed in an airstrike after Israel shelled her neighborhood in Deir el-Balah. She’s one of thousands of Palestinian children killed since the war on Gaza began – and one of dozens killed in the last 2 days.

“Decolonial” scholars who remain silent on the genocide in Gaza are the absolute worst. They’ve advanced their careers on something they consider a topic to be written in the past tense.
