Guys, it’s 2026. Why are we still asking questions like this? Valorant weapons have first bullet inaccuracy, it’s literally documented in the game. That’s why people joke about how it was marketed as “precise gunplay,” yet there’s still RNG built into the gunfight mechanics. I really miss the old FPS games where this kind of crap didn’t exist. The game actually rewarded good aim instead of just screwing you over because of some RNG bad luck.

The way a chunk of the Valorant community reacts to simple preferences is actually crazy. The moment you say you prefer another FPS or another style of gunplay, it stops being a discussion and instantly becomes an attack on their identity. That kind of mindset kills honest feedback, shuts down nuance, and makes people scared to say anything that isn’t pure praise. If you can’t handle someone liking a different game or design philosophy, that’s not “defending Valorant,” that’s just insecurity. A healthy community can accept criticism, compare games, and still love Valorant without dogpiling anyone who thinks differently.

@iamcs2kitchen We can literally see you struggling to control a mouse on it. 🤣 Glass pads are cool, but they ain't it for CS2 or any such games. They are really good for games that require reactive tracking tho. All in all, most people don't have mouse control required to play on them.

If you are afraid of trying a glasspad for Counterstrike please consider getting one.I am so happy with my Razer Atlas glasspad and never going back to clothpads. With obsidians you can have more control for fast flicks while also having less static friction for microcorrections.

This game is one where I just scratched my head the entire time. There was a solid gameplay core, but they did nothing with it. You mean to tell me you had a badass flight system with a suit that could fire during high speed flight and you didn’t think to do something like a high speed Mad Max style chase sequence in the sky? Such a missed opportunity that would probably have been talked about for years if it happened correctly. The story was also just meh, which at the time should have indicated how far BioWare had fallen.

Regarding the current status of ICARUS. Writing this now, I am a friend of ICARUS and have been with him for 20 years since childhood. He's cut off from his family, and I'm his only friend in Real Life. So with his consent, I would like to explain his current state and his background of growth for your understanding. I got a message from him last night in Korean time suggesting something ominous, and he was in a coma when I visited his house in the morning. Fortunately, he was properly taken on time, and is currently stabilizing. He has been just and positive since childhood. The reason I made friends with ICARUS was that he saved me from being ostracized in my class when I was nine years old. But his family background was harsh on him, with fewer days without cuts to his legs and back by the time we graduated from middle school. His family was too harsh on him, so he often stayed at my house for a few days because of domestic violence. He also had a tremendous talent for music and games, but his dreams were already dashed from an early age because of his stepfather. As we reached adulthood, I and ICARUS went different ways, so we can't fully figure out what kind of life he's been living, but he retired not long after becoming a professional gamer due to a wrist disorder, and later founded a professional team and paid off in several title tier 1 scenes, but as his team was incorporated, the appointed representative siphoned off all the funds in his company and went into hiding, causing him to have financial difficulties. From this point on, ICARUS started taking psychiatric medications, and this morning, as I packed his medication in his room, I read a medical certificate about him and found that he has been suffering from dangerous levels of depression and anxiety for more than three years. ICARUS was reluctant to talk to me about this, so I thought he would be fine, but I actually found out that he was continuing a close fight on the brink all this time. And then I heard that ICARUS had a girlfriend. He told me last year that he might not be able to play the game like he did before because of the severe damage to his nerves in his right arm due to an accident, and I was worried about him but he said he would get through this thinking of a happy future with his girlfriend, and it seemed like it really was. He worked very hard, working 3 jobs in parallel to be together his girlfriend But since his girlfriend left him, his condition has deteriorated rapidly, and although I can't go into detail, he has suffered from a sense of loss and betrayal. A few days before this, he called me he just wanted to talk to people, but I didn't notice that this was an SOS signal he was sending. I feel responsible for making light of his SOS. I want to say that as ICARUS' best friend and the person who knows him best, he's a really strong guy. What happened this time wasn't because he was weak, his life was too harsh for ordinary people. So to his friends and his business people here, please don't blame him or over sympathize with him. ICARUS will never do this again, and I will stay in touch with him more regularly. Just as he has overcome many hardships so far, this time he will make it. Please welcome him when he comes back Thank you. And please understand that my English is worse than ICARUS.
