@9ard0 @AmandaMAtwell You have no idea what urban overload means, but thanks for the numbers
English

@RaeRae33_ @AmandaMAtwell 55,000 students and 2.55 million in metro area, good try.

@KendallRogers @OccupyLF @CBCJakeMck Kendall, you are a smart guy and a wonderful ambassador for baseball, but this is not one of your brightest takes. Sheer population is one of the greatest advantages in drawing a crowd whether you were talking about baseball or marbles. I will overlook this one.

You wouldn’t put 𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐒 into the “biggest brand category”?!?!?
LMAO.
You should seriously get suspended for like a week for saying something that dumb on a social media app.
🤘🏼⚾️
Jake McKeever@CBCJakeMck
@BevosBurner1 I’m not sure I would put Texas into the biggest brand category. LSU fans spent 100k on Jell-O shots in Omaha State has all 25 of the attendance records
English

@coltweezus @KendallRogers @OccupyLF @CBCJakeMck This is urban overload: Austin’s a massive metro with many distractions (concerts, bars, traffic, other sports). MSU is a college town where the baseball game is the main event. Big-city brands still win on TV/brand value, but raw attendance math favors the smaller ecosystem.
English

@IslesRumor @BoredJason He said last 2 games of their road trip, that doesn’t include the game Saturday. Hope this helps.

English

Mikko Rantanen will likely miss the Islanders Stars game on thursday but will play on saturday in Pittsburgh.
Convinent timing if you ask me, sure feels like a business decision to avoid being held accountable for his actions earlier in the year. #Isles

Bruce LeVine@BruceLeVinePuck
Stars GM Jim Nill says Mikko Rantanen will join the team full-time for practice going forward and will travel with the team during the upcoming 4-game road trip. The hope is for Rantanen to return to play by the last two games of the trip.
English

@TexasBaseball @Tb12goat1991 Come on guys…someone is finally out there providing content and shining a light on college baseball and we are going to get all sideways because we weren’t picked to beat a top 5 team on the road?!?
English

@JohnBurrowsCFB We measure seasons on much more. Team togetherness, evolution as human beings, balancing of scholastic responsibilities, etc. You measure against us and how the brand does. Superficial and amoral metrics. Since 1880 whatever
English

Fun fact, the farthest Texas A&M has ever made it is the Sweet Sixteen.
Texas will be playing in the Sweet Sixteen this Thursday.
Worst case scenario, Texas equals Texas A&M’s best ever season this year.
Does that count as playing in the tournament?
AgKnocks@AgKnocks
Imagine thinking this counts as playing in the tournament 😂😂😂

@TaslerTm20795 @BruceLeVinePuck Back is a cheaper version of Faksa. He wins almost all of his board battles and is a fantastic 4th liner. 4th liners aren’t a problem on this Stars team, they’re very good at their job. Agree to disagree on him I guess, but I don’t expect goals from 4th liners.
English

@RaeRae33_ @BruceLeVinePuck Back brings nothing to the table. PK slipping and he’s been on for a lot of the goals. Not physical, bad hockey intelligence and adds no offense. Other than that he’s fantastic! I’d rather have Ilya and Petrovic in there than Nils.
English

@TaslerTm20795 @BruceLeVinePuck You have a problem with Back in the lineup? I don’t get that one but Nils a problem they’re likely stuck with the rest of the season. Bunting has been totally irrelevant, so the move was probably to try and get him going, but I don’t like it.
English

@RaeRae33_ @BruceLeVinePuck Same with 5 and 10 in the lineup. Double G burning some points lately with decision making. Some of these losses lately on him in my opinion. Nils minus again today.
English

@sportssavvyy Put that Swiss Army knife back with Benn & Duchene please
English

A note on Sam Steel from Glen Gulutzan during a recent presser:
“He’s my Swiss Army knife. Every line that you put him on, if you look, he helps that line, whether he's on left wing or center and he pushes the game along and gets you from one end of the ice to the other. And he's got hockey IQ.”
Sam Nestler@samnestler
Slight change with Bunting moving up with Duchene and Benn. Gulutzan has moved Steel around a good amount in-game lately, too.
English

@TaslerTm20795 @BruceLeVinePuck The Bunting/Steele swap is mind boggling. I was confused when I saw it, then more confused every additional shift.
English

@BruceLeVinePuck Stars beat them easy today if they had as much ooomph as they did against the Avs.Still confused on the Steel/Bunting swap. That was the best line the last few weeks…And if I see one more puck carrier, mainly PP,stop one foot into the O zone I might go through the TV.KEEP SKATING

@JarrettRenshaw Republicans better fix this soon. Fund TSA now. The Dems have offered a clean TSA funding bill. Get it done!
English

@RaeRae33_ @JakeCrain_ It was the consequences of the hit that happened to him and the possible hit thay very well could've happened from his throw intentional, from muscle memory or not. Understand now low IQ. Glad no one got hit.
English

@MeowWelty @JakeCrain_ A 10 year old losing his cool and throwing the ball at a player headed back to the dugout vs a collegiate player with a muscle memory relay play trying to save the game.
The bridge you’re using to compare the 2 is massive.
English

@RaeRae33_ @JakeCrain_ Are you stupid it was only to compare what happened to him when a 10 year old surprise hit him in the face with a ball. Could've been worse if a college player had accidentally hit someone. If you can't see the relevance that's a you issue.
English

@MeowWelty @JakeCrain_ You’re comparing a 10 year olds little league incident to a collegiate play. This is so out of touch.
English

@JakeCrain_ Texas fan and the throw was unnecessary completely. I don't think it did it intentionally as a dirty move but you have to learn to be in control better. My son was hit by a short stop when he was 10 after he had already crossed home plate and was walking back across to the dugout
