No one can be surprised the bodycam footage failed to placate the Left. Does it ever? George Floyd swallowed a ball of fent the size of a shotput. ON CAM. Did they stop looting CVS? Scott Adams may have passed. But his "One country. Two different movies" doctrine is immortal.

@rejserin That’s funny. I’ve used this same analogy for ages to explain how insane it is to try altering the hardware (which is rigid and fixed) rather than the software (which is malleable because it’s fucking text) You can change your thoughts and beliefs, you cannot change biology

You’re trying to pull the oldest constitutional bait-and-switch in the book—pretending the militia clause “justifies but does not limit.” That’s not interpretation; that’s magical thinking. A purpose clause always does two things at once: it tells you why something exists and it defines the bounds of what it covers. That’s how legal drafting works. Always has. Always will. Take this example: “Because clean air is necessary for public health, the EPA shall regulate air pollution.” The EPA doesn’t get to shrug and say, “Relax, the because-clause is just decorative.” They can’t claim it justifies regulation but doesn’t restrict them from regulating whatever the hell they want. The purpose constrains the scope—period. The Second Amendment follows the same blueprint: militia purpose → militia people → militia arms. It’s a chain, not a buffet. The militia clause tells you exactly: * who the right was built for (militia-eligible citizens) * why they needed it (to secure a free state) * what they needed (arms suitable for militia service) That’s not interpretively “optional.” That’s the architecture of the sentence. If you want an individual, unrestricted right to guns for private self-defense? Fine. Make that argument honestly: it’s living constitutionalism. Own it. But what you can’t do is gut the purpose clause, pretend it has no limiting force, and then cite it as if it magically supports your position. That’s intellectual double-dipping. You’re strip-mining the clause for rhetorical gold while insisting the mine doesn’t exist. Either the militia clause matters, or it doesn’t. If it matters, your individual-right gloss collapses. If it doesn’t, stop pretending the text is on your side. You don’t get to have it both ways.

Fun Fact: The Word Heller Pretended Was There The Second Amendment has exactly 27 words. Justice Scalia’s Heller opinion (2008) somehow hallucinated an entire “central component” — personal self-defense — that doesn’t appear anywhere in the text. Seriously. Go look. The Framers wrote: * “well regulated Militia” ✅ * “security of a free State” ✅ * “keep and bear Arms” ✅ And absolutely none of this: * self-defense ❌ * personal protection ❌ * home defense ❌ * hunting ❌ Not even a polite hint. Heller didn’t “interpret” the Second Amendment. It rewrote it, ripping out the stated purpose — state militias defending against federal overreach — and stuffing in a modern ideological fantasy the Founders never put on the page. It’s the constitutional equivalent of reading the Preamble (“form a more perfect Union… insure domestic Tranquility…”) and declaring, “Clearly, the Founders were warning us about TikTok.” Words matter. The Founders chose theirs carefully. They feared standing armies, not burglars. They wrote about militias, not vigilantism. Yes, the Amendment protects the keeping of arms — but because citizens were expected to bear them in service to their state militias. Scalia flipped the logic upside down and called it history. And America has been trapped in that fantasy ever since.

Excellent response by Sidney Sweeney. Don't give them a single inch. Ever. Precisely BECAUSE of the current political climate where EVERYTHING is blamed on White Supremacy, where White people are persecuted hated and singled out, where non Whites can be as racist as they want with zero repercussions, we should never apologize, never play by their rules. Never apologize when you have done nothing wrong. She was presented with an opportunity to bend the knee to the mob. She didn't. Based. You NEVER bend the knee to the mob. Now ask the interviewer to tell us about Black supremacy and her opinion on it. Let's see what she has to say about that. Fuck them all. White people have nothing to apologize for.

Conservatives need to wake up to what time it is
Andy Ngo@MrAndyNgo

On Oct. 11, @PortlandPolice arrested two conservatives near the ICE facility. A conservative activist was struck on the head with what is believed to be a rock near the ICE facility. He fell to the ground. The suspect fled and got away. While in hospital, the assault victim, Brian Wesley Crowell-Drogt, was criminally cited by police for fourth-degree assault, though it's unclear for what incident. Separately, a man named Harold Alston Smith was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault. He allegedly got into a physical scuffle with a leftist woman who confronted him. The woman was not arrested. archive.is/pY76o

Romanists often claim Protestants require the "infallible magisterium" to avoid the corruption of the world... and yet, from Episcopals to Presbyterians, it's the "churches" that mimic Rome's magisterial structure that have enthusiastically succumbed to carnal error.

NEW: Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale has registered as a foreign agent for Israel to create pro-Israel content to target Gen Z audiences, according to The Hill. The contract for Parscale's Clocktower X LLC is worth $6 million. Israel wants Parscale to "help game algorithms" and target Gen Z audiences, "across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, and other relevant digital and broadcast outlets," according to Responsible Statecraft. Israel wants the social media campaigns to hit a minimum of 50 million impressions per month. "Clock Tower will create new websites to influence how AI GPT models such as ChatGPT, which are trained on vast amounts of data from every corner of the internet, frame topics and respond to them — all on behalf of Israel," Responsible Statecraft reported. The contract says that Parscale's "Agency shall provide strategic communications, planning, and media services in support of Client’s engagement by the State of Israel to develop and execute a nationwide campaign in the United States to combat antisemitism." Clocktower X LLC will be primarily corresponding with chief of staff at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eran Shayovich. The revelation comes after Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said on camera that Israel needs to use social media as a "weapon." Insane.

Correction: actually, Charlie’s parents were at the memorial. Though few seemed to acknowledge them Still very weird. If I were assassinated, I’d expect my wife to be depressed at home. I know people grieve differently, but in my view this reaction doesn’t look like love

This might be unpopular, but I find it very weird how a widow has stepped into the CEO role, delivered two speeches, one at a stadium memorial (where Charlie’s parents weren’t even present), and is already going on podcasts just two weeks after her husband was assassinated. Instead of being home with her two young children who just lost their dad.
