@CrossCountryUK the guard joining your 2106 from Leeds is very proactive, giving helpful information regarding onward/missed connections, even including how to get to platforms of connecting services. Excellent to see!

@DocklessBikeMan For accurate fares advice, ask on our forum @GWRHelp are incorrect, and are making this up; this is sadly consistent with other train companies, who also offer inaccurate information on Twitter

If you are delayed alighting your train by a qualifying duration, @AvantiWestCoast will try and weasel out of it, if they think the train came to a stand below the qualifying amount and the doors remained locked: #post-7691718" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">railforums.co.uk/threads/delay-… Is this a fair and sensible policy?

Beware @thetrainpal who issue invalid tickets and then blame the customer! Also @TLRailUK @GNRailUK incorrectly issue Penalty Fares to passengers following itineraries. This is unacceptable behaviour by both companies! Sadly, there is no effective regulator, ombudsman....

@RailUKForums When it comes to fares and ticketing, the Treasury is pulling the strings. TOCs have to do what they are told these days.
