There's no true justification for the trinity other than vague passages. I for one do not believe Jesus himself God, as he prayed to himself, asked why he had forsaken him on the cross. I DO believe he was the son of God, without question, he was God's child, and he came here to do a job. He succeeded. This doesn't make him any less important, he is the way, the truth and the light, and we can't get to the father except through him. But no, the trinity, to me, has never had a strong argument. And nor do I care for the arguments, I've tested the argument, looked in scripture, and it just not true. Also, Jesus was a pretty bold dude, the man went into a Jewish temple where they took money from citizens, and just tipped over the tables. Jesus was brave, if he wanted us to know he was God, he would definitely say, "I am God." not "I and the father are one" which to me translates as he is part of God, we are all one with God which is what Jesus was trying to tell his disciples. But hey, that's just my opinion and I know Protestants and Catholics don't like that, I just believe Jesus was a man who would of just told us.
