Never in a million years did I imagine I’d buy a MacBook. 4 years ago, I was just getting started and had no idea this career would take me here. Today, I’m sitting with my new MacBook, grateful for the journey and proud of how far I’ve come. Hard work pays off. Keep going.

journey to prevent bot spam on @Framer forms continues in the past i tried creating my own captcha tool with cloudflare, but it turns out I need to verify it on the server side, which I don’t have experience with I also tried a component from the framer marketplace, but bots were still getting through this time, @sajjadul_kibria created a bot prevention component that uses multiple layers to prevent bots it’s been 2 days, and I haven’t received any bot submissions i'm impressed with this component so far i’ll update in a week or two to see if it’s truly bulletproof!

@RalconStudio Yes, thas a challenge indeed. Maybe I need to create another database for the screenshots, videos with detailed ALT tags which can be pulled and assigned to reply/solution. At this early stage anything is possible in theory😀

If you’re a template creator, you might like this challenge I set for today. Come closer. Customer service eats a lot of time in this business. We send the same replies again and again. Same links, same fixes, same instructions… even after I made tutorial pages for some of my templates. And every time I think I already answered this before. So today I’m building a "reply" database from the past two years of customer emails by connecting my Workspace Gmail with Claude. All replies go in. Links, guides, preview URLs, edge cases, everything. Tone of voice too, because that matters. Next step is connecting it to Claude CoWork. Plan is to automate incoming support emails so Claude can pull them, search the reply database, collect the right links, references, images, and prepare the response. Final touch is on me. I review the composed reply, tweak it if needed, hit send, done. Also, over the past years I recorded tons of video replies for customers with workarounds and explanations using Supercut. I want to plug those in too, but that’s step two. Sounds easy? Let’s see how this works in real time. 😉

Followed up yesterday via email, still no response. Tweet didn’t do anything too. I love @lemonsqueezy 🫶
Teo@the0teo

@jrfarr @lemonsqueezy please help, my customer has been charged 4 times for a single order, 2 of which were processed and I see in my dashboard, and the other 2 I don't see and can't issue a refund to her. We sent an email to your support team last Monday and still have no response. Please advise on how to solve this, it's unacceptable to not get back to me in a whole week. Especially given the amount of fees I pay every month. I love your product but ever since the Stripe acquisition it's been a nightmare, honestly. I wish that wasn't the case.

“My name is Nándi. This is Framer University. And...let’s get started.” If you ever watched his tutorials, you know this line. Now here’s the part I didn’t see coming. Let me tell you why I was living in a lie. Alright… only for a while. And to be fair, it wasn’t a bad lie. About two years ago, when I started my Framer journey, Nandi and I became really good friends. Same values about design, same obsession with @framer, same attitude about how things should be done and built. I visited him with my wife, he came over to our place, we talked every week, bouncing ideas all the time. And we still talk every week. Then one day I discovered Jet in the Marketplace. I told him, “There’s this guy called Orin… and I have no idea who the hell he is, but this template is insane.” I went through the whole thing piece by piece. Analyzed it. Dissected it. Tried to figure out how it works, how someone can build something so well structured and professional, and I kept explaining to him why I felt that way. He just listened. Quiet. Asking questions. Digging deeper. Pulling every opinion out of me. Still keeping a proper stiff upper lip. Not once… not a single time… did he say that it was his template. The cheeky bastard sat there in silence while I was hyping up his own work. Later, last summer we met in Budapest, sat in a coffee shop, talking about Framer, templates, plans, the usual stuff… and then he finally said it. “By the way…” he pulled up his Polar feed on his phone with the latest Jet sales and said, “I’m Orin.” I honestly thought he was joking. He wasn’t. Since that day I kept asking him almost every week, “When are you going to reveal this properly?” But knowing him, I also knew this kind of story needs timing. Needs preparation. Needs to land right. So the date kept moving. End of 2025… then maybe 2026… And now the cat is finally out of the box. Insane, right? I think he’s still one of the biggest supporters of the Framer community, and his social media game is on another level. If you are in the Framer community, you know him. If you build websites or templates, you probably learned from him. We’ve seen countless tutorials, oceans of videos, tips, components everywhere. Almost everyone in the community has used at least one of his components. Smooth Scroll. Does it ring a bell? NandOrin, mate… It’s been a pleasure. Thanks for all the good stuff, the inspiration, and the continuous support. I’m genuinely happy I know you and even happier I can call you a friend.✌️ Tamas
