At the Second Global OncoThon, Dean Crowe(@RallyDean), Founder of the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, announced a $100,000 match to support the event and inspire others to contribute.
She shared the inspiring story behind the creation of the Rally Foundation, explaining how meeting a young boy with brain cancer sparked her mission to raise awareness and funding for childhood cancer. To date, the foundation has raised $35 million to support vital research and global collaborations.🎗️

@PamelaBrownCNN Most of the money for childhood cancer research comes from private philanthropy? Are you kidding me? I have worked in this space for 20 years. Last year $160 million was given to pediatric cancer research between the NIH and DOD. I'd love to talk to you more about this!

Re: WH pausing federal grants and loans, I asked Rep. Rich McCormick if he'd support getting rid of school lunches for his constituents. He tells me high school kids who receive free/reduced lunches "are capable of going out and actually getting a job" instead of "sponging off the government."
NOTE: This freeze would also impact much younger students who are not of working age.

@Uber $84 to $140 in just seven minutes at 2:30 PM, with no traffic? We had an Uber at the ATL airport for $84, but the seatbelt was too short for a car seat, so we had to request another. In just seven minutes, the price increased by $56. Please explain.
