@C_VargasHarle Sort of got two. First one is the Four Man Dutch Tank (mtls-something), don't know the second one, and the third is that one Australian tank who's name escapes me.

The visibility of all pro‑Ukrainian accounts, including mine, has dropped dramatically. Please help me fight the algorithm by visiting my profile and boosting posts about today’s Russian war crimes. Pic for attention.

@DefiantlyFree You don't understand. The wasted fuel is part of the statement. It shows JUST how badly we want them gone.

I got a comment a while back about how the UK was less free than the USA...which I wasn't sure was true, so dug around turns out the UK is freer than the US and 'everyone is saying it' Freedom in the World index 2026 - UK 92/100, USA 81/100 1/5

@LordHardThrashe @TXCustodialDad Censorship in this country is ridiculously puritanical. Our public broadcasting regulations are ludicrously restrictive. Unless it involves shooting people. That's ok.

@TXCustodialDad Read the research papers. We have a far greater degree of freedom of speech than in the US. As a for instance from just this morning, this couldn't happen in the UK

@TXCustodialDad @LordHardThrashe We can't watch Space Balls on broadcast television without over 60% of the jokes taken out. Entire scenes are taken out because they become unwatchable or incomprehensible. I know from watching it on Comedy Central. Censorship in the US way more puritanical than in Europe.

@attnspanofaduck @PigLazer Really? That's a lot shorter than the NFA's 16 inch minimum for rifles (you can get them under 16, you just gotta do the big bad gun control paperwork).

@PigLazer A minor correction to the firearms one. You may own shotguns without 'good reason', but still licenced. Min barrel length 24". Rifles need 'good reason' and licence - pest control, target, etc - with proof of land to shoot on, club. Min barrel length 30cm.

@dailybritainonx His entire legacy is based on overturning a democratic decision by invading with an army and shooting everyone who voted a way he didnt want.

@histofevery_yt2 The post is unavailable, did someone actually try to pass off Wasp burning in the Solomons as HMS Invincible in the Falklands?

@GFoxlore @AnimarchyYT No they do not. They build upon them. God is incomprehensible to man. That different people would worship Him in different ways is the logical outcome, for He cannot be fixed in one true form, and thus worshipped in one true way, by man.

@reshetz The only catastrophe about the collapse of the USSR was that it existed in order to collapse in the first place, and the only people negatively affected were Cold War spy novelists, scaremongering intelligence "analysts," and political scientists.

@thegeneralboard Imagine being a cruiser captain who's been informed by intelligence that there's a submarine tender in the area and come steaming around the corner expecting an easy sinking only to see THAT.

The submarines USS K-6 (SS-37) and USS K-5 (SS-36) tied alongside the submarine tender USS Tallahassee (M-9) at Hampton Roads, Virginia on 10 December 1916. Tallahassee was originally USS Florida, a member of the Arkansas class monitors. The four members of the Arkansas class were commissioned into service in 1902 through 1903 and were the last monitor-type warships built by the United States Navy. The decision to build monitors was intended to provide a cheap warship to protect American harbors, freeing up ocean-going warships to focus on offensive actions. However, even with this idea, many opposed the monitors on the grounds that there were an outdated concept and would be obsolete upon commissioning. Several design changes were made to make them more viable, but this delayed their completion even further. Not surprisingly, the rapid advancement of naval technology at the time quickly rendered the Arkansas class obsolete. They were pressed into other roles including as submarine tenders. The Arkansas class were surprisingly well-suited to this role. The low freeboard of their hulls, a trademark of monitors, was similiar to that of submarines. This made transferring equipment and supplies from ship to submarine very easy. Thanks to these odd jobs, the Arkansas class soldered on in service until the 1920s.
