@sunderfolk Considering there was a new character added to base Sunder recently will there be more in the future? Especially story expansions (DLC or otherwise) or has development moved completely to Shadowstone? Our group had a lot of fun playing Sunderfolk especially on max difficulty!

Did my gimmick where I quote an AI company an astronomically high number to do an ad for them. I quoted "Pippit" $50,000 USD. They actually replied with a counter offer! Their offer was ... drumroll please ... $880 😂

@Laganish Granted the last time I played it was in Shadowbringers but I definitely felt more invested in the "last hope for everything" In FFXIV than I did with DF/TWW. Not sure if midnight was better? I like wow for its class identity, but prefer FFs way of framing your character/s

WoW doesn’t really narrativise us threading the needle with skill and determination. Things just kind of happen while we’re watching. They mostly skip over the cost of actions pushing the plot, the grit it takes, and players don’t get to connect with the result as much.

Having seen Project Hail Mary twice and loving the “hopecore” afterglow, I’m wondering why Warcraft’s A-plot optimism doesn’t hit the same, despite similar goals - inspiring warmth and dispelling the heavy woes of modern, agency-devoid life. I think I have an answer…
