@producerlizz Hilariously, I was finishing my revisions on a piece about “indie” in actual play over the last few months! Most of my energy is focused on the D20 Book (collectively written by 12 of us) & my book on AP, but I do provide in-progress data for folks working on related beats.

The thing I keep talking about recently is how scale is relative — how Dropout (& CR, etc) understand themselves in the entertainment ecosystem they work in is VERY different than how they’re perceived in the TTRPG field. Dunno what the answer is aside from holding that tension.

Really awful to hear about SCP hitting a wall and a lot of creators suddenly not having a merch solution. I can guarantee nothing, but if you need help getting back online, it is possible that the DFTBA team can help! We already have pallets coming from SCP.
