Our elections are secure and Americans can have faith that their vote is being counted. Rather than people getting worked up about conspiracy theories, we need to get back to a place where both parties can accept the outcome of elections rather than questioning their integrity when they don't get the outcome they hoped for. The Constitution explicitly created the House of Representatives to give the people authority to elect who represents THE PEOPLE NOT the fkg federal Government. Go for it. Best I can figure is at best you work 8 hours a days four days a week for about 6-7 months of actual session time. August is a complete wash. About every other week is recess, etc etc. Twenty-eight weeks at four days a week is a total of 112 days. I think you are well compensated given salary, staff support, travel expense, insider info for stock trades…..and on and on.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

@TimHannan Republicans act within the law. Democrat Party not so much. Also, it was the Virginia Supreme Court that said the Democrats in Virginia acted illegally. The Supreme Court as is their usual practice does not get involved in State law matters unless it involves the Constitution.

The Supreme Court is not even pretending to be impartial anymore. Republicans can redistrict but Democrats can’t.
