Story time... If you can increase your attention span from 8 seconds to 3 minutes, by reading this, you'd understand people like President Trump better. When I flunked from uni in 2009,my entire family brushed me aside. In fact I was kicked out of the family house and sent to the village. Everyone told me in my face that I would amount to nothing. That I had no future and I'd be useless. Fast forward to 2017 when I bought my first house, I told my mom to tell my dad that he carried that university degree for decades but couldn't buy a house, I did. Ego, right? 2019 I resigned from ExxonMobil and started my business just before Covid and again, everyone said I made a bad decision. In hindsight, the timing couldn't have been worse. That business collapsed in 2021 leaving me with no option but to sell my house. 2022 I went into a partnership with an Indian and I set up the business from scratch. Drove 98% of the sales, in total, roughly 2 million dollars sales within the first 18 months of operations. Now since I left Exxon or even before that, it has always been my thing not to call anyone boss. Even now. I have made my way through alot of hardships and still going through a tough period now but I will NEVER call anyone boss regardless. So once my same family and friends would refer to my Indian business partner as my "boss", I would go to war, just for that. Ego, right? Now imagine someone who is very successful. Built an empire. Married a few times and ended up marrying a model. Entered politics. All polls went against him The entire media and establishment went against him. He won and proved them wrong. Lost the next election because they stole it from him. Came back stronger They impeached him Lawfare after lawfare piled on him Up to including assassination attempts Polls against him AGAIN The entire media and the establishment against HIM AGAIN BUT he won in a landslide to become the 47th President of the United States of America.
