the worst part of RSD is that you know the reaction doesn’t match the situation and you still cannot stop it. you are watching yourself spiral over a tone of voice while simultaneously knowing logically that it’s probably fine and neither of those things cancels the other out. that gap between knowing and feeling is exhausting in a way that’s almost impossible to explain to someone whose brain modulates normally.

People with ADHD have what’s called Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). It’s an extreme emotional response to perceived criticism or rejection. Your brain can’t regulate the emotional pain, so a small comment feels like a devastating attack. A minor correction feels like total failure. Someone’s tone feels like hatred. It’s not oversensitivity. It’s not being dramatic. Your brain literally can’t modulate the intensity of that emotional response. It’s neurological, not a character flaw

I was bloody lazy to put the plants back in after the vacation. I was struggling both mentally and physically to do anything. However, mustering the tiny energy left in my body, I started bringing them one by one in, and it felt good once I finished :)

Stress. I eat less when I’m stressed. At times it induces IBS. I think I lost may be around 5 kgs in past 1 month :)

I didn't want to post it here, but I have been rendered 'jobless' since July 6. While certain freelancing work is fine, but some journalistic work would be really appreciated. I am looking forward to some journalistic freelancing, or full time job--reporting or desk-based, will be helpful. I am really looking forward to some leads.
