For instance: "var career := Career\.new()"
Doesn't this feel just as clean as the single-letter approach?

Statically typed languages often lead to "lazy" naming bc the redundant syntax feels like enough context (e.g., Class class = new Class).
Use type inference! When you stop repeating the class name, you're forced to write descriptive, purposeful names.
(var Class := Class(.)new)

Starting in June, Roblox creators must pay 1,000 Robux for every game they want to publish to all users.
Previously, Roblox Plus was required to publish games to users under 16. You won’t have to pay this fee if you're subscribed to Plus for 2 consecutive months.
Roblox will refund the Robux publishing fee in full after 3 months if your game is still active and has not received any moderation action.
This fee will not apply to existing games that were already published to all ages before this change.

Roblox has responded to the backlash regarding the discontinuation of cross-game sales of Passes and Dev Products:
"[The R$1,000/month] limit serves as a critical safeguard to maintain platform safety and protect users from fraud or unauthorized account activity... Games that facilitate transfer of Robux between users should migrate to using the Transfer API beforehand."

Roblox will no longer allow games to sell gamepasses from other games starting from May 29th. As a mandatory replacement, Roblox is introducing the Transfers API. You must be age-checked or have a linked parental account to either receive or send Robux. Any Robux will immediately be received upon you accepting the Robux. You will receive 90% of the Robux, instead of the previous 60%; however, 10% still goes to the game's creator. To send Robux, you must be subscribed to Roblox Plus. Roblox currently only allows a 1,000 Robux maximum to be sent per month. You will not be able to cancel any transfer. Additionally, you can transfer Robux on the "Buy Robux" page or by donating it to a user's page. If you are under the age of 18, your parent must approve each transfer request. Any request not accepted within a week will be sent back to the person who initially sent it. Any Robux earned from transfers are not DevEx-able.
