Excellent post by @pepemoonboy and something I touched on a few days ago. Not everything that outperforms sits on Wall Street or trades on a chart. The more I’ve been digging into Pokémon, the more I realize the performance isn’t random at all. What really stood out to me is the combination of scarcity and behavior. Low pop grails, high grade PSA cards, true collector pieces… these aren’t getting flipped every day like stocks or crypto. A lot of them are getting tucked away by people treating them like real assets, part of a broader portfolio, not just a quick trade. And then you add the nostalgia layer, which makes this whole thing different from anything else. This isn’t just about pure numbers. People have a connection to this stuff. They’re buying to hold, to display, and eventually pass down. I’m starting to look at it the same way with my kids, and that alone changes how I think about supply. When more people hold long term, supply naturally tightens while demand keeps growing across generations. That behavior tends to sustain over time. I’m still early and learning, but the deeper I go, the more it feels like this space isn’t going anywhere and the ones who understand it early will likely be the ones rewarded. **Only showing +$7,600 because I’ve been adding, not because the value actually went up during that time. Will reveal my first grail I bought and why sometime next week. 🐉

Do you know which investment has outperformed $VOO, $QQQ, and $SCHD? POKEMON CARDS Yes, I am not joking. According to analytics firm Card Ladder, Pokémon cards have posted a roughly 3,821% cumulative return since 2004, tracked through their index of graded card sales. Over that same period, the S&P 500 returned about 483%, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. It is no coincidence that the millennials who grew up loving Pokemon, are now enjoying the hobby with their own kids. I believe Pokemon is here to stay, and has now turned into a market that will continue to grow because the kids who are entering the wave now, will repeat the cycle with their own kids one day, and so on. Each set of Pokemon cards is limited in supply, hence why the cards go up in value. Don't overthink it.

Florida Governor candidate James Fishback got in a HEATED argument with Sophie Rain & left her SPEECHLESS after proposing a 50% Ø/F “Sin Tax” on Piers Morgan 😳💀 “What are you gonna tell your daughter in 10-15 years, when your images are all over the Internet and she’s gonna be bullied in middle school?”

Con man @saylor told the @CNBC audience that Stretch is just like a money market, except it pays an 11% yield. Where is the SEC when false claims like this are made to the public? CNBC anchors are so ignorant when it comes to investments that they let him get away with it.
