@MSMS_R2D2 Not again Your husband left out the parts where Duryodhana tried to burn his cousins alive, poison them, and physically assault their wife in open court. Pandavas had flaws and paid for them with 13 years of exile, but calling a tyrant 'good' is a misunderstanding of text
English

My husband was explaining to me how Duryodhana in the Mahabharata was actually the good man, and I’ve concluded that the Pandavas were spoiled brats who first pawned their wife and then won a war by cheating. They weren’t good at violence, They just got away with cheating because the gods were on their side for being cousins. Don’t use wrong examples.

@MSMS_R2D2 It’s in the scripture but you left out the crucial part. In Chapter 118, Ram openly weeps and states that he knew she was pure, but had to do this to prove it to the public as a King. You're judging a whole epic and his character based on one isolated page.
English

@MSMS_R2D2 I can see where you're coming from, and as a Muslim myself I tell you this: don't quote it out of context just to spread hate. Read it to learn, not just to find negativity You don't have to worship Ram but you should at least try to understand his character.
English

@Raskolnikoy3 He saved her to save his honor and once his honor was restored he told her she can go wherever she want because he can’t stand her.
English

@MSMS_R2D2 Read the full text instead of cherrypicking. Right after this, in Chapter 118 Ram breaks down in tears and admits he always knew she was pure, but had to do this theater because a King is accountable to the public. It wasn't 'can't stand her it was the absolute agony of Raj Dharm
English

@MSMS_R2D2 You miss the entire philosophy of Ram’s character. A man doesn't build a bridge across an ocean to save his wife just to test her out of doubt. As a husband, his love was absolute. The Agni Pariksha was a king's ultimate sacrifice for Raj Dharma, placing public duty above person
English

@MSMS_R2D2 First understand Ram did not test Sita out of personal doubt he did it to fulfill his Raj Dharma (duty as a king)
English

@MSMS_R2D2 applies equally to the royal family, making it the ultimate sacrifice of a duty bound king rather than the act of a suspicious husband.
English

@MSMS_R2D2 Ram had to act not as a husband, but as a ruler. If the citizens lost faith in the Queen's virtue, the moral foundation of the entire kingdom would collapse. Therefore, Ram sacrificed his personal happiness and separated from Sita solely to prove to his subjects that the law
English

@MSMS_R2D2 In the Ramayana, a king is considered the father of his citizens (Raja Praja Ka Pita Saman), meaning his primary duty is to his people. As a husband, Lord Ram never doubted Sita’s purity and loved her unconditionally. However, when a common washerman raised questions

These are the same people who get bothered by Muslims quietly praying in a corner of a public space.

@TheInsight_Desk So why are Bangladeshi Muslims entering India illegally? If Muslims are facing so much trouble then how did the Muslim population increase from 6% to 14%? And why were Pakistani Muslims entering?
English

Indians have a silly fantasy, that Pakistanis are some aliens who came into existence after 1947.
Just to clear few misconceptions:
In 1947, India was divided, just the way a dad's property/ ancestrol house gets divided once his sons develop dispute between them.
In similar way erstwhile India was divided. Elder one/ part decided to retain same name India, while younger one/ part decided to name his share as Pakistan. And by the way there is no more theory. This is the one and only one.
We as Pakistanis are the sons of same soil. We own Indus civilization. We own this land's culture, music, cusines, literature, languages, attires, dances, art and everything.
Yes we also have very deep linkages with Arabs, Turks and Central Asian States due to Islam, which runs in our soul and blood.
It took us a while, but we have been able to finally fuze Islam and our heritage into our lives and day to day events.
To set the historic record straight, it was only very late that majority of erstwhile Indian Muslims demanded a completely separate land for themselves. Initially they just wanted a greater political representation, constitutional safeguards and autonomy within a united India, rather than a separate country; however, Congress and its leaders persisted with their stubbornness.
Mr. Jinnah was a domoinant Congress leader and remained a great supporter of Hindu-Muslim unity. Similarly Iqbal (saray jahan say acha Hindustan hamara) was also supporter of united India.
It was only after continuous unfairness of Congress and RSS fascism, that forced Muslims to demand a separate land.
If you want a living example, how Muslims were treated before partition then just look around, you will find:
Muslims denied food during distribution by Hindus.
Muslims not allowed to sacrifice animals on Eid.
Mosques being demolished.
Dances in front of mosques.
Hate speech and inflammatory rhetoric.
Leaders like Yogi Adityanath openly threatening Muslims.
Online Islamophobia and social media harassment.
Mob lynchings and vigilante attacks.
There are so many other things.........But i think this much is enough.

@drshamamohd @narendramodi So what do you want the government should manufacture mints and chewing gum? It's because of this kind of nonsense that Congress was finished
English

I am in Terminal 2 looking for mints or gums but couldnt find a single Indian made ones- All are imported ! I can understand if we have both but to have only imported & not Indian ones is shocking!

Delhi Gymkhana Club, is a 113-year-old cultural landmark in Lutyens’ Delhi.
It's takeover isn’t governance — it’s the crass erasure of history & sophistication by those who value raw power over heritage & refinement.
Cultural vandalism from philistines.

#WATCH | Centre has issued an order for re-entry and resumption of the historic Delhi Gymkhana Club land at Safdarjung Road, New Delhi, citing public purpose, defence infrastructure and national security considerations. The government has asked the Club to hand over possession of the property by June 5, 2026. (Outside visuals from Delhi Gymkhana Club)
