@DanielSteckler @jackprandelli No, we dont mind, you have had that opportunity all the time, which is why Trumps Greenland tantrum is so stupid. I am more worried what Greenland is saying from an environmental perspective

@jackprandelli I'd imagine the Europeans, and,in particular, the Danish, must feel offended and threatened that America is extending its influence as far away as their European hemisphere. That's like China buying America's farmland.Frankly,I'm not an enthusiastic fan of this...soft imperialism?

The US just secured control of one of the largest heavy rare earth deposits on earth outside China. It's in Greenland. American mining company Critical Metals Corp has received formal approval from the Greenland government to acquire 70% of the Tanbreez deposit in southern Greenland. Estimated resource: 4.7 billion tonnes of rare earth bearing material. 27% of those rare earths are heavy rare earth elements (dysprosium, terbium, yttrium ) the ones used in EV motors, wind turbines, and advanced military systems. For context: Mountain Pass, California (the main US deposit): 0.49% heavy rare earths Bayan Obo, China's largest deposit: 1.13% 🚨Tanbreez: 27% It also has exceptionally low uranium and thorium content 10–20 ppm uranium, under 100 ppm thorium. That matters because radioactive contamination has killed other Greenland projects. Tanbreez already holds a mining licence valid until 2050 one of only 2 sites out of 140+ active licences on the island to have received it. The supply chain logic is straightforward: Extract in Greenland → process in the US → supply defence and advanced technology sectors Production is expected to begin 2027–2028, starting at 85,000 tonnes of rare earth oxides per year, scalable to 425,000 tonnes. Project value estimated at $3 billion. China controls 85% of global rare earth processing capacity. The US currently imports 80% of its rare earths from China.

🇩🇰 The Danish King (yes we have a real King with a gold crown and not a wannabe-king with a gilded ballroom) will soon present Denmark’s 10 point plan for the future peaceful relations between Denmark, Greenland, and the US: 1. The US will guarantee a stop for all agressions against Denmark/Greenland 2. The US will pay reparation to all Danes for insults and threats 3. Trump/Vance will abstain from all future insults and threats 4. Trump will recognize Danish sovereignty over Greenland 5. The US will pay $2 million for every US vessel passing through the Davis Strait and the Denmark Strait 6. Only the national flags of Denmark and Greenland can fly over US bases in Greenland 7. Trump will guarantee that there will never be a McDonald or a Trump Tower in Greenland 8. The US will substitute Columbus Day for Viking Day 9. The US will return the Virgin Islands to Denmark because of moral mis-management (Epstein’s Little Saint James) 10. Trump and Vance will be allowed to brag about this plan as a victory for America 🇩🇰🇬🇱🇩🇰🇬🇱🇩🇰🇬🇱🇩🇰🇬🇱🇩🇰🇬🇱

Let me take you through the last 48 hours. 1) The Trump administration panics because Iran threatens to block all trade through the Straits of Hormuz. 2) Trump threatens to commit mass war crimes and biblical levels of destruction if Iran does this. 3) Iran attacks some merchant ships in the Gulf and there are reports that Iran has deployed a small number of mines. 4) Trump says the war is a great success and looks desperately around for a way to end it. axios.com/2026/03/11/tru…

@RasmusJarlov Not really. We should take initiatives to break away from USA once and for all. We cannot rely on a country that shifts national security strategy every quarter. The shift away from them should have started 35 years ago when the cold war ended

The USA already has a defence agreement with Denmark that gives them exclusive and full military access to Greenland. But they are not using it. They have downgraded their presence by 99%. Now, apparently, they are telling their base that they need to invade and annex Greenland because they need to have a large military presence.

If Denmark is serious about protecting Greenland, strong statements from the Prime Minister won't cut it with Trump. If anything, that weak approach invites a takeover. The Danes need to deploy King Frederick and the Australian-born Queen Mary to host Trump—just as King Charles III quieted US annexation talk with his opening of the Canadian Parliament. Constitutional monarchy, cultivated through centuries, makes sovereignty quite clear, and its majesty represents something that can't be bought or copied—and that demands respect. Don't be shy about using it.

Thanks to its great relationship with Denmark, the USA today has all the access to Greenland that it could possibly want. The defence agreement from 1951 allows the USA to have as much military presence as it wants and it can invest in mining if it wants. China and Russia have no presence in Greenland whatsoever. No companies, no mining, no consulates. Nothing. They pose no threat to Greenland at all. If the USA wants to keep this extremely favourable position, it should support and work with Denmark instead of constantly provoking and antagonising us.

I agree with the U.S. position that nuclear weapons shouldn’t be spread around to weaker countries or unstable leaders. It’s hard to picture what might have happened if Ukraine had the same kind of nuclear arsenal that Russia, the U.S., or China has. Russia has had some very embarrassing moments during the ongoing war, where Western countries, including the US under Biden, are arming Ukraine, but they have shown a lot of restraint. I think I like that. Just imagine if Ukraine were hitting at Kim of North Korea 🇰🇵

Worst crypto bull market ever. If you didn’t just buy Bitcoin and hold, you have probably lost money. No alt season. Crypto stocks pumped and dumped. Even whales are down on their “treasury” plays. Bitcoiners are infighting. And we just saw the largest liquidation event in history. Brutal for almost all participants.
