🦠 VV #ECMO in acute #COVID19 respiratory failure associated with reduction in mortality by 7.1% vs conventional MV without ECLS. Age, severity of hypoxaemia, intensity/duration of MV should be considered to mitigate risk of harm/maximise effectiveness. 📎 bit.ly/3P4RXzK
