Great to speak with the BYU Law School Federalist Society today. Thanks to chapter president Brynn Hiatt for the invitation. As a BYU undergrad alum, it meant a lot to be back in Provo sharing my story, discussing the role of the Attorney General, and encouraging the next generation of attorneys to stand firm for the Constitution and Rule of Law.

Federal courts must be impartial. But climate activists nearly succeeded in turning the judiciary's own reference guide into a legal playbook against American energy. Idaho fought to get it pulled and the Federal Judicial Center withdrew it. We cannot have courts influenced by political activism.

Voter ID is common sense to most Americans. Every legal vote deserves to be counted, which means illegal votes can't dilute them.

The 14th Amendment's "subject to the jurisdiction" clause has a specific meaning. When it was written, the framers of the legislation understood this wouldn't apply to children of foreign citizens here temporarily or illegally. I am asking the Supreme Court to restore that understanding.

I had the chance to speak with a group of concerned citizens in Meridian today about the importance of the upcoming elections and being civically engaged.

Today, I’m happy to announce a historic water rights settlement between the state of Idaho, the Coeur d’Alene tribe, and affected community stakeholders. This settlement is a massive win for all north Idaho families, businesses, and communities who depend on reliable water. It  avoids continued litigation, protects existing water rights, secures water for future growth, and it is a win for all parties.

Proud to work with our law enforcement partners across the state to protect Idaho families. My ICAC Unit received the tip and executed the search warrant leading to the arrest of a Homedale man who possessed hundreds of files of child sexual abuse material.
