Parents,
You’re NOT just raising kids. You are responsible for helping them to become successful adults.
Don’t ruin them.
And create your own exhaustion.
NO ONE will want to be around this girl, long term, if she talks like this to others (and she does).

Raising a teenager is exhausting in ways you can’t fathom

@TuckerPoodleMA @AdamRackis There is nothing remotely acceptable in all that. He’s the cause of exhaustion.
My daughter (31) would not even whisper something that awful and disrespectful.
Putting it in writing tells me this is a common occurrence. Parents are ruining their (future) adult children.
English

@AdamRackis I would knock my daughter into tomorrow if she texted me this shit.

@HemmerleinLee Sounds like some other people’s unruly kids. Pecking at wet paint…. 🤣🐐🪿

I needed to reseal a water tank that I had made from a tractor rim, but I made an error in judgement. I decided to do it in place while the emus were still in the same pen. Those birds while not leave anything alone. I swear sometimes they are as bad as goats. Now they have paint on themselves from pecking at the wet paint.

@hogincrisis It’s important to be as healthy and strong as you can be. 💕🦔
Taking my own advice.
Signed up for the gym today and need to go back.

I’m not sure he trying to be, but….
One of his relatives lived in my yard all last year. It was a fight to get her to move on to *greener, more welcoming pastures.

@Prickles_Paws Blue and Belle said “hallelujah! These biscuits!” 😆💕🦔🦔

@Nutmegbunny9 From here to Toledo. ☔️
Not that I normally would know that, but trying to find a good day to take a little boy and his momma to the zoo there. 🐼🐯🐻🦁🐨

If you are gardening in Michigan. It has been raining ALOT. We had one nice day yesterday and it’s going to rain again today. I started putting peas in the ground yesterday. And this is what I’m going to tell you—->>> you need sand for drainage because of all the rain. My polytunnels will not be affected, but the main gardens will be. So I encourage you to work a little sand into your garden.

@AppyOrtho My (white) maternal Great-Grandma Minnie Bell.
My (white) grandpa was a sharecropper who picked cotton. He traveled with his daddy to my great-grandparents farm (on my mom’s side) to pick their cotton and married my (white) grandma. 💕

@TheJoeySwoll You said it. “Nobody cares about your video.” She wants to be treated special for doing wrong things.
I wish gyms would put a stop to this.

@Opiumbrella If someone has that amount of stupid in their head, stands to reason it gets kicked off.

Oh no. I hope he’s not ok.

@legaltweetz My great grandmother owned a boarding house in the Bagley neighborhood, 1950-70s
I was born to young parents in Pontiac, but raised by my mom’s parents in Arkansas. My parents needed time to grow up (they didn’t).
My grandma planted these peonies in 1954. I have them here.

This was the exact upper flat on Detroit’s East Side I was born into in 1982.
Fast forward almost 44 years — that kid from the upper flat is now a lawyer fighting in Michigan courtrooms. Life’s wild.
I’m the product of a disco romance — young parents who met under the spinning balls of late-70s Detroit: all hustle, funk, & Saturday Night Fever dreams.
What’s YOUR origin story? Detroit raised or not — I read every reply. Drop it below 👇
