@DRRanshaw 🤣 I have only killed the protagonist once. She had to die at the end.

Do you have your characters eat in your book? If so how much?

Eight months into this cancer journey Update. Two surgeries behind me. A third on April 3, the ileostomy reversal. After that, more recovery from that surgery and the most recent surgery, removing another 2 inches of small intestine and repairing an inguinal hernia, then it’s back to treatment. Chemo or radiation, we’ll see. This hasn’t been easy. Sleep has been rough, 2 to 4 hours a night most days. But my spirit is strong, and my energy has held steady. Weight has been average. God has been faithful through every step. Every day I wake up is a gift, and I thank Him for walking with me and carrying my family through this season. I’m still here. Still fighting. Still trusting. I did get to go preach again recently and it was a great service, great turn out and 2 men gave their lives to Christ. Amen, Amen, Amen... (Tried not to let the pain and fatigue show.) God is Good... 🙏🙏

So apparently there’s a lot of knowledge I can use from being Canadian and setting my story in Alberta Canada that is gonna make me seem legit. For example, the drinking age here is 18, my FMC is 19 and is surprised that she can drink at the bar (my FMC is American)

Well, the local thrives broke into my under house storage and stole my 16' Aluminum 6 in 1 ladder, some paint supplies and a small portable generator I use to do extra side work. Not the best place or most secure place to put those things but it's all I have. The actual broke the lock and took it. 🤔🤔

First day working in the office after seven months of working from bed. 🥹 I’m so happy I could cry.

@RavenaBlakely @CJSimone333 I think, and based on the comments, most of us are guilty. We really want reviews and get irritated that most readers don’t leave them, yet when we were just readers most of us didn’t either. It’s not intentional, just not something most readers consider when they finish a book.

I’m curious. Most authors desperately want more reviews, but how many book reviews did you leave before you became an author? Looking back, I don’t think I left more than a handful. Safe to say I didn’t leave reviews on the majority of books I read. You?🤔

Reason why I am writing Briar Moon is because it helps with my depression, keeps my suicidal ideation at bay and because I believe its a story worth telling. Wolfblight will always be my baby, but it's nice to try something a little different. #writingcommunity

@PyresMagicka One would think. I will admit that I don't always do a good job at showing what that would look like, but would definitely be something that would be good

At a time when upwards of 25% of children in the USA live in single parent homes, is it time to create and promote books, shows and movies that represent what a stable, two parent home could look like? Where both the dad and mom are competent, caring adults?

Fellow authors, do you get crazy stoked for your book covers? Maybe it’s me, but the cover for my upcoming cozy fantasy, The Pick & Pint, is being created. Every update the designer shares with me gets me all hyped up and excited. 😁 I can’t be the only one, right?
