I see both camps. Personally, for such a big moment, you need to get the correct decision and that is what happened, even if it took 5 minutes. Many people are overlooking Soucek's foul on Havertz which happened first, so that is a free kick. But Raya has his arm and back pulled - you just can't allow a goal with all of that going on.

No luck involved, Johnny rules are rules. The goalkeeper was fouled twice, the referee missed it, and VAR corrected the decision. That’s not luck. People are quick to thank Everton for taking points off Manchester City. But what about Manchester City failing to get a result when the pressure was on and their defence crumbled? If that was Arsenal away to Everton, the same people would be calling them “bottlers”. And mathematically, the league was never won months ago. Arsenal put themselves in a great position with a gap over City, it was far from over. As an Arsenal fan, it was always going to be difficult. Trying to win a league title after more than 20 years without one was never going to be plain sailing and that’s the reality.

Arsenal should win the league from here but it will be in spite of Arteta and not because of him. Without that break they got today then it’s likely they would no longer be favourites and considering the position they were in, that really is dreadful management

Its funny. When we scraped 4th under Klopp after winning the league everyone called it a miracle because of our CB injury crisis. Bear in mind everyone else was still very much available. We were top of the leaue after Van Dijk sufffered the injury. This season, we have had significant injuries @ RB and up front. We have had to play midfiders at RB, overplay players like Hugo and play wingers up front. Oh and our best player declined to average levels. One season is praised as a miracle, the other is projected as a failure. Go figure that one out.
