Problem with living in delusion is no one cares after few months and things never really radically change. What we need immediately is 1. Procurement of latest upgraded AWACs. Our current operational strength of 3 is way too low. Even Pak has 10. 2. System integration needs to be cracked. We are still not even able to get source code for Rafales. 3. F-35 needs to be purchased there is no other option as a stop gap. SU-57 is just not stealthy enough and we already pulled out of its development as we did see those concerns. We need the best to counter Chinese 5th and 6th gen for next few years. 4. HAL-AMCA needs Manhattan project type national urgency and 2035 for production is too long. Needs to wrap it up in next 3-5 years at all costs.
