BYU has struggled with defense most of the year. But they had the depth and talent early on to overcome it. When you lose the talent and depth, then you have to be more effective defensively. That just didn’t happen down the stretch to end the season. Plus, size hurt them.

I understand BYU fans are disappointed. We all are. But you also need to grasp that this was never supposed to be the team. This team was supposed to have Richie, Dawson and Nate. Got a bunch of bad injury luck and could never fully overcome it. It’s frustrating, but it happens.

Fun fact about me: I think signature verification is one of the weakest ways to prove someone is who they say they are. We’re literally relying on a scribble… ultimately judged by a human… and calling that secure. If we’re serious about election integrity, it’s pretty simple: Verified ID. Every time.

Good point! Utah will be run by those who win elections. We voted for our current politicians. I guess we can take Utah back from...... ourselves? Politics runs on ultimatums and scare tactics. I am a big fan of our election system. Every current Utah elected politician that serves me was someone I voted for except the current Utah county clerk. I voted for the other guy whoever that was. Every Utah politician has been fairly elected (even thy guy I did not vote for).

I give, who are we "taking Utah back" from?

The U.S. job market is the worst in decades. And the main cause of this is completely incompetent government.

What a huge day! We officially broke ground on the 2100 North Freeway. This new 2.8-mile connection will link I-15 to Mountain View Corridor, creating a major route for residents in Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain while helping alleviate local traffic in Lehi. This is a people project. It means families spending less time in the car and more time together. It will also unlock new opportunities for commerce and employment in the west. A huge thank you to our Utah County Caucus leadership Senator Brammer and Representative Gricius, as well as Transportation Committee Chair Christofferson, and of course my own Senator Balderree and Representative Maloy. I also appreciate President Adams, Speaker Schultz and Carlos and the UDOT team for recognizing the need and delivering for Utah County. The next two years of construction will bring some challenges but the end result will be a stronger transportation network that serves our growing communities for generations.
