Today my heart feels especially heavy and full at the same time. Memorial Day isn’t just another long weekend or the start of summer, it’s a sacred day to remember the brave men and women who never made it home. They gave their lives for us. Sometimes, I don't think people really appreciate the gravity and weight of that sacrifice. They laid down their lives so my children could grow up free, so I could speak my mind, worship as I choose and live in a country that, for all its flaws, is still the greatest on earth. To every Gold Star family carrying an empty chair at your table today… We see you. The sacrifice your loved one made will never be forgotten. Thank you to every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, and guardian who gave everything they had. Your courage really do humbles me. Not just today. But every single day. I get to see so many of you on X. So I never forget. Your love for this country inspires me all the time and gives me hope for my children's future. We owe you more than words can ever say. Today and every day, we honor you. God bless our fallen heroes and God bless America. 🇺🇸

I can’t party today. It’s a somber day for me. I remember the faces of my son’s friends who came to my home often, later enlisted as Marines, and lost their lives as very young men. Some committed suicide after returning. Never forget the price they paid for us.

🇺🇸 Today, on Memorial Day, I’m standing on this beautiful golf course in Arizona, surrounded by the kind of peaceful morning that so many gave everything to protect. The mountains stand tall in the distance, the sun warms the green and patriotic flags wave gently in the breeze…a quiet reminder of the brave men and women who never made it home to enjoy simple days like this one. We play, we laugh, we live freely… because of their sacrifice. Today we pause, we remember and we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Freedom isn’t free.
