So glad to know that yesterday's @Centre55 Senior Active Living Fair was a success! Although I couldn't be there, I know that our partners @TheOACAO do a great job at enabling #seniors to stay informed, and connected, through our governments expanded funding for Senior Fairs.

This afternoon, I’ve instructed my Attorney General to pursue an injunction against the Al-Quds Day demonstration planned for Toronto. Hate, violence and intimidation have no place on the streets of Canada and our government will fight it however we can.

Thank you MPP @MurphyGallagher for being an advocate for #seniors in Newmarket-Aurora. Building strong senior communities is what our Senior Community Grants are doing across the province. So glad that veterans and seniors will now enjoy engaging in great discussions.

This past Saturday, I was pleased to join the Aurora Philosophy Institute for their Philosophy Café, where I had the opportunity to highlight this year’s Seniors Community Grant recipients. The Institute is already delivering The Philosophy Project for Veterans and Seniors, supported by a $25,000 grant from our government. This program is creating meaningful opportunities for veterans and seniors to connect, reflect, and engage in thoughtful conversations — both in person and online. This initiative is part of Ontario’s $6 million investment to help seniors stay active, engaged, and socially connected in their communities. A quick thank-you as well to CYFS for responding so quickly to the false fire alarm during the event — their professionalism and reassurance were truly appreciated. It’s wonderful to see this project already making an impact here in Newmarket–Aurora.
