@NBCNews Only an idiot would still support him. Just a complete waste of space would support this. This will kill people here. Why would anyone have a kid here? It’d be a crazy thing to do. There’s no reason to keep this country going. What’s the point? Here’s your potholes and addiction.

@MorePerfectUS What the fuck are we fighting for? If we aren’t making life better for our people, then what’s the fucking point? We’ll just have starving people, potholes, and gambling addicts. Is that the country you want? That’s what we have now and his proposal only worsens things.

Trump has proposed a $1.5 trillion defense budget — a 40% increase, the largest since WWII. In exchange for more war he wants to: -Cut the EPA budget by half -Cut $10.7 billion for housing -Cut $8.5 billion for K-12 programs -Cancel $15 billion for clean energy -Cut $2.5 billion for clean drinking water -Eliminate $1.6 billion for youth job training -Cut $3.5 billion from the Labor Department -Eliminate $395 million for senior employment -Eliminate $775 million in food assistance grants -Eliminate the National Endowment for Democracy -Cut $5 billion from the National Institutes of Health -Eliminate the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) In all, cuts to domestic programs would account for a 10% reduction in discretionary spending.

@Polymarket A big jump in social welfare jobs. Thanks for keeping me employed and in demand, but that means the country is going insane and is in a crisis. The lack of access to mental healthcare is also terrible because they’ve cut a lot of grants so we can go to war for Israel. Yay.

@jmontforttx The Ozarks are also big corporations. Northwest Arkansas is Walmart, JB Hunt, and Tyson. It’s very bougie here. It’s also home to the University of Arkansas. It’s got a lot of great outdoors activities and plenty of events. Hell, we even had the WuTang clan here last year.

What is interesting about Texas, to me at least, is that the GOP decries how awful the cities are in our state. They claim they are crime-infested, homeless folks everywhere, crowded, and controlled by Democrats... But the map shows the conservative rural half of Texas is declining in population, and the cities are booming. No one wants to live in those desolate areas, except cattle.
Zachary Donnini@ZacharyDonnini

NEW — Net domestic migration data from 2020–2025 shows a reshuffling of where Americans live. People are fleeing cities (especially in CA, the Northeast, and the Rust Belt) and moving to suburban and rural areas across the Southeast, Texas, the Ozarks, and the Mountain West.

"You're not having to mortgage your first house or sell off your first child" - Kenny Omega explains how AEW is different from WWE: "We're sort of like the alternative. We're not quite WWE, and we're not an indie either. We're just kind of AEW. What we try to be is the most fun live show that you can watch available to you. "I do think that for family friendly shows - mostly family friendly - ticket prices absolutely friendly. And we never skimp on the content. You'll always get a ton of wrestling for your money value. "I even think we're getting a double taping in Winnipeg. So you are getting a whole heck of a lot of AEW, and you're not having to mortgage your first house or sell off your first child. "And that's not a knock on any other promotion or anything, it's just that if you want to check out a television product, see yourself on TV, have fun, see what makes AEW so special, you can do it and you can do it at an affordable price. "I'm just really glad that if there's any interest whatsoever, whether it be because you're a die hard AEW fan, or you just wanna go out and check out a night of wrestling and do something fun with the family or friends, I'm glad that there's price point options available for all walks of life. That's one thing that I'm very proud of with AEW." (CBC News Manitoba)

@ryanlightbourn I’m pretty sure the solution to world hunger is being spent on missiles and being shot at Iran endlessly and needlessly. It’s not people making movies. That’s so disingenuous. Plus, AI is so terrible for the environment that it creates problems all its own.

They said AI would destroy art. The new He-Man movie cost $200,000,000. I made this in 5 days for $500. Imagine what $199,999,500 could do for world hunger. Just saying.
