He presents himself as a principled truth-teller above politics but in reality he’s just a skilled rhetorician. Decades in the system and no meaningful structural change to show for it. Lots of talk about principles, very little in terms of actual impact or solutions. Selective outrage, simplified narratives, recycled ideology, this isn’t deep thinking or innovation. It’s the performance of a carrier politician. --- Rhetoric vs. Reality “Anti-establishment outsider” → Decades in Congress, part of the system he criticizes. “Champion of liberty” → Strong slogans, but no major laws or structural reforms delivered. “End the Fed” → Years attacking the Federal Reserve System, zero institutional change achieved. “Peace candidate” → Anti-war rhetoric, no impact on actual foreign policy decisions. “Truth-teller” → Repeats ideological talking points, little engagement with real-world complexity. “Independent thinker” → Standard libertarian positions, not innovative or system-changing. “Moral consistency” → Selective application, principles shift depending on context. “Real solutions” → Mostly critique, no implemented alternatives or governance models. Decades of talk, no measurable systemic outcomes—just rhetoric. He is part of the problem, not the solution.

This isn't about ME, this isn't PERSONAL. It's about political VIOLENCE and REMORSE. Today especially, we need leaders to unequivocally condemn violence, not endorse it.

🇭🇺🇪🇺 EU ramps up “disinformation” controls before Hungary vote Brussels and major platforms like Meta have activated DSA tools just weeks before Hungary’s elections. The system coordinates with fact-checkers and NGOs to limit what it labels “controversial” content. This goes beyond disinformation, allowing Brussels to sideline dissent and shape political narratives. Why it matters: unelected EU bodies could end up influencing the outcome of a national election. 🇭🇺 EXCLUSIVE BREAKING: FACEBOOK RESTRICTS ORBÁN POSTS WEEKS BEFORE HUNGARY’S ELECTION As Hungary heads toward a crucial April election, Facebook is reportedly restricting posts from the country’s Prime Minister. The move followed a call by an opposition party (Tisza Party) member, a former Meta employee, urging supporters to mass-report his content. Meanwhile, Tisza leader Péter Magyar has disproportionately high engagement figures, outperforming global figures, despite operating in a much smaller, language-limited country Péter also used a personal “professional mode” profile rather than a political page, contrary to Meta’s long-standing guidelines, potentially bypassing limits on political content. Questions are also emerging around how Meta moderates political content in Hungary. A regional Meta official has publicly shared positions aligned with mainstream European narratives, including pro-Ukraine messaging and content seen as anti-government in Hungary. If Hungary’s largest social platform keeps restricting Orbán’s content while opposition accounts seem inflated before the election, serious questions arise about free speech and democratic integrity. This requires an urgent investigation. I’ve seen political interference by social media companies in other countries, and I really hope this is not happening in Hungary.

Facebook Restricts PM Orbán’s Content Weeks Ahead of Hungarian Election | Joakim Scheffer, Hungarian Conservative Facebook has begun restricting content from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán just weeks ahead of the high-stakes parliamentary election scheduled for 12 April. According to a post on X by right-wing political commentator Mario Nawfal, the move followed a call by a member of the opposition Tisza party, Dóra Dávid—a former employee of Meta—who urged supporters to mass-report Orbán’s posts. Nawfal also raises questions about the online performance of Tisza leader Péter Magyar, whose engagement figures are described as disproportionately high compared to those of global political figures, despite Hungary’s relatively small and linguistically limited user base. It further alleges that Magyar has used a personal ‘professional mode’ profile rather than an official political page, potentially circumventing Meta’s established rules governing political content. According to Nawfal, there are also concerns about the neutrality of Meta’s content moderation practices, as a regional official has publicly expressed positions aligned with mainstream European narratives, including pro-Ukraine messaging and content critical of the Hungarian government. Nawfal’s post was shared by Political Director of the Hungarian Prime Minister Balázs Orbán. According to another X post by Irish economist Philip Pilkington, the Meta official involved in moderating the content of Prime Minister Orbán is Oskar Braszczyński, Meta’s Government & Social Impact Partner for Central and Eastern Europe. Pilkington points to possible connections of Braszczyński to Hungarian opposition circles, pro-Ukraine positions and broader progressive causes, citing publicly available social media profiles. The post further notes that Braszczyński is Polish and appears to reside outside Hungary, arguing that this raises concerns about foreign influence over political content moderation in the country. Meta’s censorship comes just days after the European Commission activated the rapid response system, aimed at ‘countering potential disinformation campaigns’ ahead of the Hungarian election. Commission spokesperson Thomas Regnier confirmed that the mechanism—agreed upon by 44 signatories, including major platforms such as Meta and TikTok—will operate until one week after the vote. Describing the system as voluntary, Regnier stated that it involves cooperation between technology companies, fact-checkers, and civil society organizations to ensure that suspected foreign interference, particularly from Russia, is swiftly identified and addressed. Claims about Russian interference in the Hungarian election have intensified in recent weeks after a report by Hungarian outlet Direkt36 alleged that Russian military intelligence (GRU) deployed an operative team in Hungary to influence the vote. The report, however, provides no evidence to substantiate these allegations. hungarianconservative.com/articles/curre…

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” - Jesus God calls us to humility. The man is clearly traumatized by the experience. Humility would have helped a lot here. There's no weakness in apologizing to Rand to admit your mistake, and there’s nothing wrong with apologizing when you have nothing to lose to repair a broken relationship.

There's a difference between right and wrong. Every one knows this is wrong and few have spoken up. Rand Paul had to have part of his lung removed after he was assaulted. Unreal we would promote someone who advertises violence as the answer when they have a political disagreement.
Senator Rand Paul@SenRandPaul

"So, today, Markwayne Mullin, I’ll give you a chance. Tell it to my face. Tell the world why you believe I deserved to be assaulted from behind, have six ribs broken, and a damaged lung. Tell me to my face why you think I deserved it."

It's been a year since I left The Daily Wire. A lot has changed in the country and in the conservative movement in that short amount of time. But America isn't over, and the politics of anger and despair do not have to win. The future belongs to those who build it. Time to get back to work.

In case you're not getting it yet: Hollywood is systematically removing both the SUPER and the HERO from the superhero genre. The subtitle of the next Spider-Man movie, “Brand New Day,” is code for “we’re no longer making real superhero movies the way you like.” Superman (James Gunn's version): a conflicted, alienated immigrant struggling with identity politics. Peacemaker: a crude, broken man-child whose "heroism" is mostly drugs, orgies, and daddy issues. Hollywood is systematically removing both the SUPER and the HERO from the superhero genre. Wonder Man: Simon Williams, once the WHITE son of a rich industrialist, now a Haitian-American actor dealing with family trauma and cultural identity crises. Black Captain America: super-empowered to save the country but still crying about racial inequality. Ironheart: Riri Williams is a genius inventor but still has to steal and is burdened by ILLUSIONS of systemic racism and personal grief. Daredevil: now a depressed, guilt-ridden lawyer whose arc drowns in moral ambiguity, depression, while being overshadowed by diverse sidekicks lecturing him on privilege and anger. Lanterns — Hal Jordan and John Stewart reduced to substitute teachers and grunt cops investigating a murder in the American heartland, while a female detective disrespects them and the black Lantern lectures the white one on doing the job better. And now comes FAILED Spider-man: bungling, constantly falling and crashing into things, getting hit by a van…the list goes on. These aren’t the heroes we want to see. They’re "humanized" (read: weakened) versions designed to make today's modern (read: lowbrow) audience feel better about themselves. The men are sad, angry, depressed, unfulfilled, incompetent, or outright toxic. The women are corrupt, masculine, infallible girlbosses who outfight, outthink, and out-lead every man in the room. They no longer live in their own specialized, larger-than-life worlds where they thrive as gods among mortals. They live in OUR angry, gritty, mundane world where they FAIL, struggle, and get knocked down to our level. No more soaring capes, no more unapologetic power, no more aspirational icons. Just unrelatable losers with OCCASIONAL super-powers who mirror our own mediocrity and resentment. Hollywood isn't dying. It's killing itself.

“He’s not taking it seriously” - tell that to the (much bigger) version of myself that I was a year ago. Listen; I’m just trying to be real. I’m not trying to make excuses, even if I have. This past month was hard for me, especially sharing it the way that I did. But regardless of that I’m not gonna let that low point or anyone on the internet take away from the progress that I’ve made over the YEARS of struggling and learning that I’ve gone through. I will never give up on this journey, I still plan to hit 399 by the end of April; I have a plan, I have a schedule, and I’m going to do my best to follow it. I apologize if this feels like giving attention directly to the negativity, but I felt like these thoughts / this response and the *hope* that I feel right now regarding my journey really need to be shared. I’m PROUD of what I’ve accomplished, even knowing I still have a long ways to go. I see the positive, I promise, and I’m sorry that I can’t always take the time to respond to more messages. #weightlossjourney
