But we’ve had real losses. Five union members left the Reader in 2022. All are journalists of color. Says one: “The Reader has an opportunity to foster new talent, but if we don’t retain the journalists of color we already have, that potential goes to waste.” (4/6)

While we’re at it, @howardbrownhc, the largest LQBTQ+ health care org in the Midwest, is threatening to axe 60 union jobs 🐀. Mgmt says it’s a needed financial decision, but @HBHWorkers say mgmt has yet to prove it 🐀🐀.
