Other notable scoring efforts tonight - Zaya Price had 17 for the Bobcats, 11 in the 2nd half. Karleigh Byrd scored 12 points and Gill had 11. Natalie Rosema knocked down three 3-pointers for Hart, 9 points.

The 2025-26 Ottawa-Kent Green All-Conference boys basketball team. Voted on by the coaches and based on stats in conference games only. Muskegon (20-3) won the league with a 10-0 record.

SCAM ALERT! Residents in the Hart Post area have reported receiving scam phone calls from someone impersonating a Michigan State Police trooper. The caller is identifying himself as “Trooper Callahan” assigned to the Hart Post and is telling people they must pay a fine or fee immediately. The caller claims that if payment is not made, a warrant will be issued or troopers will come to their home to arrest them. This is a scam. The Michigan State Police will never call and demand payment over the phone to avoid arrest or resolve a warrant. Hart wins it 51-49. Pirates had only 1 team foul with 15 seconds left and very smartly used 3 more to run off clock. Kent City doesn't get a shot off at the buzzer and the Pirates are regional champions.

End 1st quarter of the regional finals in Grandville, and Hart leads Kent City 12-4. Spectacular defense so far by the Pirates, they've forced at least 8 turnovers.
