Chrissie is a Young Earth Creationist. I wonder how many of these there are in our space?
I'm not going to argue with people about their faith based claims, because an arbitrary "anything is possible with God" covers up all discrepancies like a worldwide flood of which no other continuous civilization (Egypt, China, Sumer) has a record.
And it's possible that God has created a deceptive veil of scientific illusion to make us not see the Giants and Dragons that existed 8000 years ago, because although I don't think God is out to fool us, He definitely could if he wanted to do so.
But let's get into the other stuff:
-Genesis 1 describes a structured six-day sequence culminating in rest on the seventh. The Hebrew word Yom is used (Day) which can mean 24 hours, or some indefinite era. Regardless, the number used was 6+1 day of rest. How is it arguably 2-3 days?
-Eve could have lots more kids. She's fucking her own kids either way. That's gross. But it would explain a lot.
-Genesis 3 calls the snake the Hebrew equivalent of "beast of the field," so it's a literal talking animal in the Bible. You can interpret it however you want, because it's silly.
-There is no evidence anywhere of a "global flood." There would be. Besides, people didn't even believe in a globed earth back then, and thought the world was a flat area bordered on the edges by tall mountains. We could get into the billion reasons why it definitely didn't happen if you want. I'll use my interpretation freedom to believe it's a metaphor for baptism.
-Nephilim appear in Genesis 6 before the flood and Numbers 13 afterward.
-Mythological Dragons in ancient art and folklore are fire breathing composite animals with wings that actually bear very little resemblance with sauropods or plesiosaurs. Humans living among them would be more accurate in describing and drawing them, as they were with cave art of various mammals they hunted.
The fossil record shows no co-occurrence of dinosaurs with human artifacts.
Dinosaurs went extinct 66 million years ago. God must have loved them, because they ruled the earth for 165 million years before he put us here.

It wasn’t six days to create Earth. It was arguably 2-3 days. Anything is possible through Him. Eve had way more kids than was written, The bible only references the most important names genealogically, it omits most people. People also lived much longer. Using Adam’s rib was symbolic; man to woman. Serpent, not snake. Satan spoke through the serpent. Flood is referenced 3 times in the Old Testament and 5 times in the New. People didn’t “move on” from the flood because there were maybe a dozen or two left after. and All the nephilim were whiped out from it. Many accounts throughout history reference a great flood from thousands of years ago. He liked dinosaurs (dragons) just fine, and killed most off during the flood.

Why on earth can't people just take me at my word?
Ava was 8 years old and had outgrown all of the diapers for kids, and she still wasn't potty trained. We were considering trying adult diapers for her, and we looked into it.
Fortunately, one of her school teachers was able to break through on toilet training her, and it was a fucking miracle and amazing. We never had to buy them.
But the search happened, so I guess Google just figured I might still be interested? Hold that thought, Google.
