He sold the company California Department of Taxation just sent him a demanding he provide 3 years of all ledges so they can come auger him for a “use tax” He’s never even heard of that, I looked it up The California ‘Use tax’ is when you buy and taxable goods from out of state and the seller might not have collected the California sales tax So now he has to try and hunt all this information down, for every purchase so California can try and collect taxes on it, because maybe the seller didn’t collect the right tax “Talk about government overreach” “Like, we don't even have a wholesale certificate. We don't buy wholesale. Everything we buy, we pay retail, we pay sales tax on it. We don't charge our customer sales tax. So what authority does your agency even have to ask me to go through my records for the past three f*cking years and send them to you so you can browse through it and try to find f*cking money to cover the debt?
