I find it fascinating how huge majorities of almost every group agrees that: People have a soul or spirit in addition to their physical bodies. Even 69% of agnostics agree with that. The huge outlier are atheists. Just one-third think that they have a soul.

Grok can put anyone in any clothes. It's on the *user* if they want to do good or ill.
We don't boycott photoshop because you *can* use it to put people in bikinis. We understand that's on the user.
Perhaps a solution here is ban anon accounts from using the feature. You generate it? That's on you. And you should fear the consequences.

as a child i remember being confused by christmas because the religious aspects (church, baby jesus story) seemed to have no relation to the tree, Santa, elves, reindeer, gift sharing ritual aspect . the latter is nearly ubiquitously celebrated in a fully secularized fashion

People think of Christmas as part of the natural fabric of their lives. They expect their children and grandchildren to have the same experience. But there’s no reason to believe that. It’s an explicitly religious holiday. Foreigners are asking why their religious holiday isn’t just as important. And conservatives really have no answer for that because it means privileging Christianity or tradition above democracy. But once we get enough foreigners- and we will, Christmas will become just another religious holiday and giving it special recognition from the government will become racist and unconstitutional. That’s the future of the west.
