A man vandalized Saint-Étienne Church in Mulhouse, eastern France, after entering the building shirtless and barefoot on Sunday afternoon. According to church officials, the suspect walked straight to the altar, grabbed the large cross and threw it to the floor, then emptied a vase of water and flowers onto the altar. He then used the cross as a crowbar to force open and destroy the doors of three confessionals before fleeing the scene with a second individual. The attack, which lasted around five minutes, was captured on CCTV while the church was empty. No items were stolen. Father Pascal Boulic, the parish priest, said the attacker "targeted and attacked Christian religious symbols." A criminal complaint has been filed with police, who are investigating the incident. About 30% of Mulhouse's residents are immigrants. This is more than double the French national average of about 12%.

According to Islamic tradition, the Black Stone will come on Judgment Day with eyes and a tongue to testify for those who touched it in truth. So now a man must travel to Arabia, circle a cube, and touch or kiss a stone that can supposedly speak for him before God. Muslims attack idol worship in other religions, yet their own religion gives a sacred stone supernatural importance tied to salvation and divine favor. “Touch the stone so it can testify for you later” does not sound like pure monotheism. @DeenRatio What you described as extremist Muslims are just the fruits, the main problem is the root. A bad tree cannot bear a good fruits. ISLAM is the root that breeds the extremists, for example Isis, Boko Haram, Taliban, Al shabaab etc they're fruits of Islam

This is my story... People often ask me why I speak so passionately against fanaticism and religious extremism. The answer is personal. During the 1990s Kano religious riots, which spread across parts of Northern Nigeria following tensions over the planned visit of the late German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, my uncle, Usman Mustapha, a senior police officer and a devoted Muslim, stood between violence and innocent lives, protecting those who sought refuge in his police station. He identified himself as a Muslim, but that didn't save him. The extremists saw him as an outsider because he was from Southern Nigeria, and they believed his Islam wasn't "good enough." They killed him brutally. Our family lost a man whose only crime was trying to save lives. That tragedy changed us forever. His children lost their father. His wife lost her husband. Our grandmother lost her son. Some members of my family even struggled with Islam afterward. It took the kindness, compassion, and character of other Muslims to help rebuild their trust. That made me ask a question I still ask today: What kind of ideology convinces a person to kill another devoted Muslim simply because he comes from a different part of the country or practices his faith differently? This is why I continue to speak against fanaticism. Not because I hate Islam. But because I have seen, firsthand, what fanaticism can do to innocent families. If you still wonder why I ask difficult questions... Now you know my story. This is just the beginning.
