Every generation has a company that seems inevitable. Microsoft in the 90s. Google in the 2000s. Facebook in the 2010s. Anthropic/OpenAI now. It always feels like it's different this time. It never is. Startups always find a way.

I think this opinion starts to become extremely obvious when you actually get into the weeds of AI capability - all it does is create endless opportunity for new and amazing things. It's so sad to see the doomers think the world is ending when this is just the beginning of greatness.

Very unpopular opinion: Ai will create more jobs, not less.

@LeverCRO @aaron_epstein Dude - I totally forgot about Google +. I remember my mom went all in on that and was totally convinced facebook was toast... Man, its like a fever dream.

In 2011 my CFO handed me a slide deck titled "Why Google+ Will Kill Facebook" — dead serious, 47 pages. We laughed at it 18 months later when Facebook hit a billion users. "Inevitable" is just the story we tell after someone already won. The next winner is sitting in a 3-person office right now arguing about Postgres vs. MongoDB. Startups always find the seam.

I think there are a few steps to this: First is discovering just how much you can do with AI. It's an oh shit moment... Like, there is so much to do and it causes anxiety (at least for me). Then, its honing it. Recognizing how to organize the power to fit your strength's and then start building. Third, you have to figure out how to show the people that matter that you actually have mastered it and can be dangerous in the right environment. I'm right in between step 2 and step 3 right now, but still with the anxiety of step 1 because step 1 never seems to stop.

I believe a 60 year old who masters AI tools will outperform a 25 year old who refuses to touch it. Age is not the variable. Willingness is.

@PeterDiamandis Yet we still have people in the comments absolutely convinced AI is making people dumber - there are truly two different realities in society right now and the gap is MASSIVE.

An OpenAI model just disproved an 80 year old math conjecture from Paul Erdos, one of the most prolific mathematicians in history.  We're going to SOLVE everything.

People are way too skeptical of their Claude Code - the thing can really cook if you are explicit in telling it what exactly you want and not get in the way once it understands.

@KingBootoshi Did this a few weeks back - I was on the brink of a real problem - had it categorize stuff into safe to delete, review, and move to iCloud.

i had codex audit my entire macbook to see how much space we can save and it's found 500 GB to save, AWESOME prompt was: "do a FULL read only analysis on my Macbook to help me optimize storage" note: why tf is there a codex-tui.log file that is 116gb ??????? WHAT ????

@2sush I don't want to claim to be a top coder, but, when you have continuous projects I have this bizarre thing where I'll fall asleep for 2-3 hours wake up, check progress, set CC back off on another mission, wake up again, keep going.
