New York's pro-criminal policies are turning retail corridors into retail theft corridors.  It really is catch-and-release: a thief gets arrested, released, and reoffends before the paperwork is even finished on the first arrest. Local police tell me they deal with this every day. Meanwhile, the rest of us pay full price. It’s unfair and it’s wrong.   Let’s prosecute retail theft and stop repeat offenders — to make New York safer and less expensive.
