@FrankBr05713205 I absolutely loved the 99 GTP I had back in the day. Green metallic with the tan leather interior. It was a great car until a floor jack went thru a frame rail. The body looked great, but she rusted from the bottom.

Here is a great engine cut away I have. It is a GM 3800 supercharged V6. Two series of these engines were made between 1995 and 2007. They were very reliable and durable with an iron block and were considered by many as one of GM‘s best. They delivered between 240 to 260 hp and 280 foot pounds of torque using an Eaton M 90 supercharger which was factory equipped. This engine appeared in the Buick Regal, Pontiac Grand Prix, Pontiac, Bonneville, Buick Park Ave., Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and Chevrolet impala SS but many were swapped into other vehicles. And with some simple upgrades, the horsepower could be further increased easily.

I know it wasn’t recommended to install a hitch on the GTP and tow anything. I ignored that warning and installed a hitch with the idea of towing my motorcycle. That lasted about 20 miles. It was in the blower the whole time and getting 7-8 mpg. I would imagine the efficiency would be out the window with a larger heavier vehicle that’s less aerodynamic.
