@DanHayesMLB Is that an option just at home or on the road too? Will this new jersey ever be worn at home?
English

This is an alternate road jersey. First time since 1986 the #MNTwins will have a road jersey that says "Twins" instead of "Minneapolis." The gray pinstripes with "Minnesota" is still the team's primary road jersey.

People making fun of this are just proving they don’t know how weather works in the north. We lose a ton of snow in MN on 20 degree sunny days

parker hageman@HagemanParker
feels like the annual miguel sano crushing the dominican league post but he’s now got 7 home runs in just 13 games

I think a lot of people don't know exactly what happened in Shohei Ohtani's case and are going around claiming he gambled, fixed games, and is only free because he's the biggest name in baseball. During the FBI investigation, betting payments came to light from his bank account, yes, but that doesn't mean he was gambling.
And here's the important point: even assuming he did place those bets, there wouldn't be any problem, because none of them were on baseball games. They were all on other leagues and other sports, and that's not prohibited for an MLB player.
Ippei Mizuhara, his translator, is the one in jail. And he's not in jail for gambling: he's in jail for bank fraud, filing false tax returns, and authorizing transfers in Ohtani's name without his consent. All of that stemmed from his gambling debts, in addition to the fact that he gambled in illegal casinos, which is also a federal crime.
But let's suppose that Ohtani was behind these million-dollar bets, which doesn't make much sense because there were losses of almost $20 million. It would be absurd to think that someone could "fix games" and still end up losing that much money. But okay, let's suppose he did bet: according to the FBI and the entire investigation, not a single baseball game was involved. Not one.
And before you say, "Yeah, but they must have covered it up," think about this: if they wanted to cover it up, they would never have made this whole case public, which did indeed damage his image. The reason Ohtani is free is because he didn't do anything illegal, and the only proven culprit was his translator.

@kpottermn @jackson_newman I'm flying from CID-MSP tomorrow. Chances that flight gets axed? I think the shorter regional flights are going to take the biggest hit so I'm slightly nervous
