@BarackObama America is a country built on violence. Violent crime in the USA is many times higher than in Europe and has been like that for decades. It is a failed state in that respect. It does not protect it’s citizens. Gun ownership is the biggest contributing factor.

Breaking GPT-5 News! To my amazement, I just came back from a trip to Europe only to find an invite to a private GPT-5 demo, and I tried it. This thing is lit. Fully multimodal, and in hours of playing it with I didn't see a single boneheaded error, not one hallucination. If this is not AGI, I don't know what is. My hat is off to Sam and the gang! (Great to see all the neurosymbolic components, too, which have clearly helped with intepretability, reliability, and alignment.) The actual Tesla Q2 sales numbers for China and most of Europe have been released. My 423,000 delivery estimate still looks good, which would mean a 9% decline compared to Q2 last year. According to Tesla's survey with 27 analysts (known as the Company-Compiled Consensus), the analyst consensus is now 437,812, which was released yesterday. I think that's too high. We'll find out the actual number around 9 a.m. Eastern Time.

The table shows my final estimates for Tesla's production and deliveries this quarter.
