youtu.be/F0VgnLuV5J0 Like many of you, I awoke to sad news of Bob Lanier's passing. Put this video together this AM, a brief scene from the 100th Year Anniversary, Dec 2019. It would be Lanier's final visit to campus. May the heart of Bona hoops continue #BobLanierCourt

Lonati was definitely a bright spot today. He’s from Italy where they emphasize ball movement and cutting. Him and Buddy were key to the 2nd half run that put the Bonnies in front. I’d like to see more of that moving forward. Push the pace and find shooters.

Jimmy Kimmel fought back tears during his final show of 2025 as he thanked fans for getting him through "a hard year": "I’m crying already, I’m sorry." “This has been a strange year. It’s been a hard year. We’ve had some lows, we’ve had some highs. For me, maybe more than any year of my life. I’m crying already, I’m sorry. I just want to say that we appreciate your support, your enthusiasm, and not just for watching. This year, you literally pulled us out of a hole, and we cannot thank you enough personally... When I hear from people who tell me that they watch our show, and the shows that my friends and colleagues do on the other channels, and that it makes them feel less crazy, it makes me feel less crazy too. I also believe it is important that we as Americans let our friends in other countries… know that a lot of us are not ok with what is happening. There is still much more good in this country than bad, and we hope that you will bear with us during this extended psychotic episode that we’re in the middle of.” Read more here: variety.com/2025/tv/news/j…

Will Arnett on his first legit awards contender with 'Is This Thing On?': “You get wrapped up in it, and it’s all about are you on the right roundtable? Did you spend time talking to the right people? And I’m like, maybe I didn’t — or maybe I did, and they didn’t care. But I feel really proud of what we made, and it was transformative to me as a person. And if I’m Searchlight, I’m like [sarcastically], ‘Great, we needed to make a movie to help transform you.’ But it did, and I feel really good about it.” Read more: hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-f…

All of us at Sundance Institute are profoundly saddened by the passing of Tammie Rosen, Chief Communications Officer, following a courageous battle with cancer. Tammie was a remarkable leader whose integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our organization will have a lasting impact. Under her stewardship, Sundance Institute’s story was told with heart and authenticity because, quite simply, she embodied the joy and power of our mission. Tammie had an extraordinary ability to connect and inspire; she led with purpose and heart, always guided by an ethic of excellence, empathy, and genuine care for others. Her warmth, generosity, and laugh were infectious, and her keen intelligence and moral character inspired her colleagues not only at Sundance Institute but across the industry. She was one of a kind, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Our hearts are with Tammie’s family and loved ones during this extraordinarily difficult time. - Ebs Burnough, Sundance Institute Board Chair

Wow! Cowardice and cheats on display. Saw it when the GOP blocked vacant Supreme Court Justices, saw it on Jan 6th … and we see it hear again. We The People. 51%. It's with a heavy heart that I officially begin my tenure as VP and AD at @StBonaventure today. We miss Father Dan immensely, but will chase excellence in his Franciscan spirit. It's SOO good to be back here, back where my Good Journey began. #Grateful #GoBonnies #Unfurl 🐺🤎🤍

“Give me a B!” He always got the crowd energized…just one of the many ways his spirit lifted everyone in his aura. What a presence. What impact. Godspeed indeed.

For many of us in the @StBonaventure community Father Dan Riley was among the first people we met on campus and the eternal link whenever we went back. Godspeed to a good man who lived an extraordinary life and affected untold thousands of lives for the better. @ex_espn_chris

Indeed Dan Riley is the Heart of Bonas! Heaven has claimed a great one. And in each of us lives Dan’s Spirit, his enthusiasm, his thirst for community and friendship with a guiding Franciscan principle: we are One. It’s what makes St Bona’s so wonderful and all of us so rich!
Dan Barry@DanBarryNYT

The Rev. Dan Riley, for decades the beating spiritual heart of @StBonaventure, has died. He embodied Franciscanism, married so many alums - including Mary and me - and taught us to embrace the wonders all around. In many ways, he WAS St. Bona’s. Go in peace, dear friend.
